The Witch of the Academy

Raven's POV

We went to class before the assigned time, and you scold us for that.

"Listen! In my class, you should attend and prepare five minutes before the time. I don't want any pussy in here and neither do I want any of your complaints" she said in a military kind of manner.

"Do you understand?" she asked in aloud voice

"Yes maam" We answered as loud as we can

Is she Emman and Marvin's homeroom teacher? Poor them.

"My name is Avery Yoo. They call me the 'Witch of the Academy', you shall call me Ms. Yoo at all times. Now get a sword and form a line" she ordered as and we quickly do as she said

"She's too scary" Diana whispered

"No doubt about that" I agreed with her opinion

"Stop yapping and bring your asses in here!" It seems that Ms. Yoo is in her period

"Now let's start training" Ms. Yoo said as she smirked

That doesn't seem to be an indicator of something good.

In the end, we did a hundred swings, a hundred push-ups, and ran thirty laps. The first one to drop, meets his end.

Every one of us got tired and went back to the dorm after class. We were too tired to even interact.

I went back to our dorm room and I was the first one to get back. I immediately went to the bathroom and got a shower. I changed into my pajamas and prepared my stuff. It got a little past five and I fell asleep. 

Some time passed and I heard people talking. I woke up and saw that the three of them already got back from the academy.

"Well, let me guess. You got to know the witch" Marvin smirked

"Congratulations!" Emman teased me

"Tomorrow's schedule for my class before lunch is fencing. Lunch would feel tasteless" Derreck said in a worried tone

"What time is it?" I asked them

"It's some time past seven" Emman answered

"We already ate and just got you a sandwich from the café" Marvin said as he handed me two pieces of ham and cheese sandwich

I ate as we continued our talk.

"I already turned in our application form for our club and the headmaster approved it" Marvin said

"Good job, where is our clubroom located?" Derreck assked

"On the Academy's South building" Emman said with a worried tone

"You mean the oldest and farthest one?" I choked on my bread from shock

"It's okay, we can renovate it" Emman wanted to be optimistic

"By the way tomorrow is the Headmaster's speech for welcoming the students and the announcement for the Academy's school fest that is in two month's is going to be held tomorrow in the afternoon" Emman stated

"Why doesn't it have to be in the morning?" Derreck complained

We just laughed at his remark and slept through the night.

The next day came and it was the same routine as always. We first had homeroom and had Mana Control training in the morning. We had lunch and our history class with Ms. Kurtch was cancelled due to the headmaster's speech.

All of the students went by year and by class inside the school auditorium. I had a seat beside Diana and we were very far from the other three. I also some people I knew like Violett, Cheska, and Princess Helen. 

Princess Helen and Violett were in the same line as Marvin and Emman, so she must be in class one. While Cheska must be in class five, since she is seated near Derreck. They stood out to me, because of I always see them at parties.

Everyone was silent as we all saw the Prince take the stage. There was also a big monitor that showed a closer look of his face for the people who are seated far away.

"Good afternoon to all of you, students of the Imperial Academy. As the student council President I greet you all in today's meeting" the prince gave his speech as he welcomed the headmaster

A man who looks like he's in his 40's took the spotlight as he held the microphone in his hands. He had gray hair with blonde highlights. He had golden eyes which none like any other person.

"Hello everyone, I am Alexis Rob Ouxilion, your Headmaster" he introduced himself.

He greeted everyone and welcomed us, freshmen into the academy.

After his spectacular speech, we all applauded.

The Prince went on stage again and took the microphone.

"As everybody knows, I am the prince, but also the student council president. For the sake of the freshmen, I would like to reintroduce our student council officers" He stated

"Our Vice President, Franz Hail from the third years" He said as we saw Franz Haile, the minister's son and another capture target on stage.

He introduced the other officers and then came the secretary.

"Our secretary, Rebecca Rosevelt" Wait a minute, my sister is the secretary? How come that's news to me

"Wow your sister is so cool" Diana admired my sister

"She always acts like that" I said

The meeting lasted quite a while, but I was still shocked by the fact that she is in the student council.

"We hope that you all have a good day" Prince Edward ended the meeting and we all went out of the auditorium and went to wherever we wanted.

"That was too tiring" Marvin said

"By the way, you were classmates with Princess Helen and Violett Sunglow?" I asked the two

"Yeah, the Princess excels at everything, but how did you know Sunglow?" Emman asked

"The one who almost got a scolding from my sister, remember her?" I hinted

"Oh that was her!" they said being amused by that fact

"No wonder she was familiar, but she's weird" Emman said

"How can you call a lady weird?" Diana said

"She sticks to the two of us all the time" Marvin said

"She's actually popular for always sticking by Prince Edward and the Vice President. Your sister, Rebecca always gets mad at her" Derreck said

So it has begun, I guess?

"Long time no see" a familiar voice was heard and we turned our heads to see Cheska.

She really grew up as a fine lady, now that I see her up close.
