Chapter 6: Reuniting with everyone

Betty's POV

Jughead made me laugh and giggle. He may be annoying,  but he sure knew how to light up the world.

B- Whatever Jug, anyway we need to start heading off to the exit to reach the office in time for the meeting.

J- One more minute , I'm enjoying this hug. It will probably be the first and only one. You will never let me do it again.

I stopped hugging him and pulled away.

B- Never say never...... who knows what will happen in the future

J- Oh Betty Cooper how you have turned the tables, you rock my world

B- Your a duff, I'm serious, let's go

J- Sure thing boss

B- Are we taking a taxi, the subway?

J- We have a few bags, let's just take a taxi

B- Okay, the exit is this way let's go

J- I'll get the cab, wait here.

~ Few minutes later ~

J- I have it let's go

We got on the cab and he started to lead us to downtown Manhattan. We didn't work in the official FBI headquarters. We were secret undercover agents, meaning that our faces were never in any official documents and no one really knew of our existence. We didn't have social media, we never appeared in pictures with friends. Our friends were people at work. Not having any social media and avoiding the posting of pictures also made it harder for personal relationships. I didn't complain too much about it when it came with friends, I had amazing friends. But when it came to guys, it was impossible.

An hour later we arrived at the old building in the outer part of Manhattan. We had an afternoon meeting with our partners and our boss Veronica who has been my best friend since College, in spite of her being 2 years older than me. We had classes together and we trained together and eventually moved to New York. Our second boss was our supervisor Sweet Pea. Our partners were Kevin , Moose, Josie, Valerie ,Reggie, Chuck, Trev and Jason. We were a special unit and we were always on special missions. We did some jobs from the CIA , but we were originally from the FBI and still are in the FBI.

Jughead payed the Taxi and got our bags.

B- You do know I can carry my own bags right? I'm pretty strong, pretty sure stronger than you.

J- Don't get cocky with me Betts I know you are strong, but so am I. Man you always want to be feisty with me don't you?,

B- Now stop laughing and let's go to the meeting

We walked in and everybody was working

J- Hello guys were back!

B- Hey guys!!!!!

K- BETTY YOU ARE BACK I MISSED YOU!!!!!!

Kevin runs to me and Jug and hugs both of us.

B- Kev I missed you toooo!!!!

R- Welcome back bro!!

Reggie hugged Jug, then Trev, Chuck, and Jason approached Jug and they shared a bro hug. As soon as that happened the girls approached me and we hugged. Then Veronica came out of her office with Sweet Pea.

V- B!!!!!!

B- V!!!!!!!

V- Welcome back!!!! Jug welcome back too

J- No need to pretend, I know you care more about Betty.

He laughed, it was pretty funny how Veronica said it.

V- Well let's end this catching up, and get back to business. We need to get done with this meeting so we can get back to work and get the hell out of this building as soon as possible. So we can get some drinkssss!!!!

Everybody- YESSSSSS!!!!!!

V-  As you all know , Jughead and Betty just arrived from their mission in Mexico. Which they executed perfectly.

Everybody- Woooo!!!!

Everyone cheered, we always supported each other in our missions. We all knew how exhausting they could be.

V- Okay Betty, Jughead we need the report of the mission.

B- Jug you can do the honors

J- Sure thing Coop, this is the report. We arrived in Mexico 3 weeks ago and settled in the undercover apartment and started tailing them. At one point when we were tailing the wife she went inside of a restaurant with some of her friends.

B- So Jug being the flirt that he is went undercover as a waiter in the restaurant and as he was taking care of them he would be flirting with all of them at the same time.

J- Coop are you jealous or something cause it sounds like it?

B- You wish I was jealous, anyway when they were done with their meal the wife of the Narco gave Jug an invitation to a party they were hosting at their house in the hills. And since the party was going to happen within a week I started to hack into all of their devices and cameras, so we would have audio and video of everything that was happening.

J- After that we stayed in the apartment taking turns watching the security footage, trying to catch anything that was helpful. When then we saw him remove a painting from his office and go into the tunnels. So we knew where he went ,and we heard a conversation between him and the guards. Saying that he was going to take advantage of the party going on to be with his mistress. We heard it ended up being one of his wife's friends that was in the restaurant. Which is why he used the party to be with her, because she was attending the party.

B- After that we prepared for the party and Jug and I rented clothes. I stayed behind and took over the computers and I was Jughead's eyes inside the building. And we executed our plan.

J-I played the waiter to cause a distraction, I made my way to the office door and got into the tunnels. I took out the guards and found the room where the Narco was. I had already called Fangs and his unit. And they made their way to the backdoor and took him. We left a note and the headlines were made all over Mexico and are about to reach the U.S

B- That pretty much sums our mission up.

V- Great execution made from this excellent duo.

SP- You guys well deserve your 2 months of vacation.

B- We have worked hard for these vacation weeks.

J- Many sleepless nights, more like weeks of lack of sleep.

B- And months of having tolerate Jughead

J- I'm sweet as a pie, it's harder to deal with Betty and that's the truth.

V- About that...
