Chapter 11: What have you found?

Betty's POV:

 It's been about a week since we moved into the Penthouse. We haven't been able to meet any members of the clan yet. But we have made progress. We know the names of the powerful families in the business. None of them are the top bosses, but they work for him and help him out with any work he needs. Money laundering, supply, etc. The 3 families are the Blossoms, the St.Clairs and the Muggs. The Muggs were politicians, the politicians in their family could be traced down to the 19th century. They were the ones in charge of making sure there was no problem with the law. The St.Claire were the onward in charge of money laundering, since they were big music producers, and had chains of music studios all over the U.S and Europe. The Blossoms were owners of the richest companies in the world. They were owners of the biggest modeling and casting agencies, clothing brands,etc. Anything that had to do with fashion, trends, status and beauty could be traced down to this powerful family. The next heirs to them were Ethel Muggs, Nick St.Clair and Jason Blossom. They weren't the ones who worked for the top boss yet, but they were being groomed for it. The Blossoms had another daughter, but all they knew from her was that she had been in boarding school for the last 2 years, and there was no new information from her, for the last 2 months. Jughead and I had followed them and read any available information about these families and their heirs. We didn't need to make immediate contact with any of them. We didn't have to infiltrate with them. We had a ticket in, we were the Force couple. Both Schuyler Force and Jack Force have come from less involved families of the clan. Donators, who were still invited to some parties, but did not attend. Just in case they attended Charles had made contact with Jack's family, his brother Thomas to be exact. If he attended a party, he would need to collaborate with us and follow along. Help us fill our cover, there was no worry with Jack's parents, since they were dead. And no other family member knew about the business. Schuylers family had been held accountable of their felonies and for no reason would be able to get involved with the clan. We were safe, it was the first mission where we were already infiltrated, we didn't need to find a way to get in. We were in, we were just not in deep enough. We had our ticket, we just needed to make sure they knew we wanted to get in with the dirt. Become allies , just so we could meet the top boss. That meant socializing with the St.Clairs and Blossoms. Warming up to them, to become allies, who will trust us and let us get involved with more deals. This would take time, which is what Charles had informed us. We would need to work with them the most we could.  to Attend all their society balls, attend their donation fundraisers, etc. Jughead and I had been a little exhausted, we hadn't met these people. And we were trying to know enough information about them to be able to hold conversations with them. 

J- Have you found what you need ?

B- Sort of, there is a lot of information about these 3 families. But the weirdest thing is about Cheryl Blossom, there isn't a lot that involves her, the only information you can find is about boarding school. And there's nothing I can find for the last 2 months. Which is weird, she was unenrolled and never heard of again.

J- Do you think her family wants her under the radar? 

B- I don't really know, I have a bad feeling about it, I don't know why. I don't trust these people, they could do anything.

J- That's true

B- Hey are you okay ?

J- I'm just a little tired

B- I told you we can take turns taking the bed or we could sleep in the same bed. It's so big, we won't ever really touch.

I said laughing at the last part.

J- Yes funny, and I know. But I told you , you can have the bed and I would take the sofa in the room.

B- You don't have to play the gentleman always Jug.

J- I'm no , don't worry

B- Well at least take a nap, this can take a while.

J- Are you sure ?

B- Yes, now go

I stayed behind searching more files, but I was not prepared for the secrets I found. I decided to call Charles, I needed to just breathe. 

B-  Hey Charlie

C- Hey liz, is everything alright ? 

B- No Charlie, I found out about somethings. And it just brought memories and I can't seem to forget at the moment.

C- Liz, breathe calm down. You can't push those memories down, at one point they were going to resurface. 

B- I know Charlie, but…. I ….why

C- Don't cry please, tell me what happened

B- I hacked into some secret files that the Blossoms have secured. It had taken a few days, but I found files about their daughter. 

C- You're the best, but continue

B- Theres police reports about torture to her, they have sent her to this place. That is used to help mental ill patience. But I found the statements she has made. About torture and how they use it to find girls for sex trafficking. Charlie, this means this clan isn't just for drugs and guns. They are involved in sex trafficking. I think…. I think… sell her, she's still at the institution. 

C- Just breathe , we don't know that.  When do you think they could have done this? 

B- Maybe in these last 2 months, I would think maybe this month. I dont think they could have sold her yet...the last report was 2 days ago. But I think I know when they night sell her.

C- When ?

B- At the ball, she's terrified of this party she keeps mentioning. They are so sick they send her to a kind of therapist to reveal all her feelings. And her parents were sick enough to want to keep them and read them. But the only party close enough she can be scared is the Society ball. Which is great , because we are attending. We can find away too..

C- Liz? You cannot be thinking about a rescue mission. 

B- Charlie..

C- Liz it's risky, a suicide mission. You are trying to get in, to officially present yourself to them. Up to know you have only been donators and get things in return. The real Forces don't even know about the sex trafficking, only drugs. What could you even try to do, to get in.

B- That's the point, they will not suspect us, we don't even know about it. Jughead and I can find a way to sneak into the towers of the mansion. And sneak her out, after the meeting. But maybe we might need help…

C- See I told you it's risky

B- Charlie!!!! We need to do this, this is the right thing. And it won't affect anything, it could even benefit us.

C- Fine, who do you need?

B- I only trust one person with this. You know who I'm talking about, call her.

C- I'm calling Interpool right now. Hang tight we will figure this out. Now you should go to bed. It's getting late over there. 

B- By Charlie, I love you

C- I love you too Liz

After that I went to the room and found Jughead reading on the sofa.
