A whole room of boxes that should be handled with care, new furniture, the same clothes, but a new house. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and fresh. Unlike the last place he lived in, lots of memories were left behind, and the pain those memories carved in his heart still made him feel heavy and full of misery. But, it's the past, and he has to be happy.
While fixing the boxes, one small box suddenly fell from the top and Yeonjun was quick to catch it. He sits down on the floor, dusting the small box on his hands. Examining it before finally opening, "Oh..."
The pain started to crawl up into his heart yet again, it was the box that the person he loves left him. It was given to him, but he refused to open it, because he's afraid that he might just cry and relive the pain of being left behind by someone you love.
Hundreds of Polaroids welcomed his brown orbs, he looked at them one by one, aware of the tears molding itself on the side of his eyes. The pain couldn't be controlled, it still hurts.
"I miss you..."
FLASHBACK TO THE YEAR 2018.
Yeonjun was busy with his lollipop, when suddenly, a big truck drove pass him and stops in front of the house that was a house away their's. No one was living in that house since he was a kid, and he guesses that finally, someone was going to live in that house.
Standing up and dusting his pants, he walks up to the truck. The back door of the truck opens, revealing tons of boxes.
"Oh, hello there!" A woman in her late 30's greets the blue haired boy, Yeonjun looks at her and flashes out a warm smile.
"Hello! Are you going to live in that house?" Asked the blue haired boy, with his smile still plastered on his lips.
"Ah, yes. Yes, we are," She answers.
Yeonjun makes a small 'oh' as he nods, his eyes slowly looking back at the truck. He averts his gaze away from it when he heard the passenger seat open, a tall boy hopping off the truck. He was wearing an over sized yellow tee tucked inside his pants.
"Hello!"
The boy flinched when he heard Yeonjun called him while approaching him, "H-hi..." It was obvious that he's timid.
"I'm Yeonjun, your neighbor!" Yeonjun lends out his hand, waiting for the tall boy to shake hands with him.
Slowly and with a slightly shaking hand, the boy holds his hand, "M-my name is Soobin..."
And that was how they met for the very first time, they became friends after a few days of Yeonjun tailing him around as he talks about various things that Soobin didn't even know. They were classmates, and lunch buddies. Yeonjun wouldn't deny the fact that he already developed feelings towards the younger one, but he still isn't ready to admit it.
