MY CRAZY FANGIRL

CHAPTER 5

I direct the direction while the stranger smoothly manuever his motorbike like a pro. It's not my first time ridinga motorbike because my cousin alway fetch me with his motorbike. So after that awkward and embarassing moment awhile ago ay niluwagan ko na ang kapit ko sa kaniya leaving only the tips of my fingers on the side of his jersy jacket trying my best not to make any contact with his body.

After few more turns ay narating na namin ang tapat ng bahay kaya bumaba agad ako.

"Thank You and I'm very sorry for the inconvenience" I said to him after handing him the helmet he lent to me awhile ago. He take it from my hand and quickly storm off after giving me a nod. I did not even able to ask his name. But I was able to take a peek at his Jersy number. #88 that's his jersy number. I made a note to myself to thank him properly next time I saw him.

Hindi pa ako masyadong naka move-on dun sa strange stranger guy at nakapasok ng tuluyan sa bahay namin ay nakatanggap ako ng text galing sa pinsan ko at tawag naman mula ka Jin.

I first read the text from my cousin.

From: kuya Fort

Nakauwi ka na ba?

I type "yes, no worries" and hit send bago sagutin ang tawag ng kaibigan na sana pala diko nalang ginawa.

"MIKEEE---" i ended the call upon hearing her scream. Ang sakit sa tenga at makikichismis lang naman yung bruhang yun.

She called again but I ignored her calls at pumasok na ng tuluyan sa bahay.

"Good evening Kuya" I greeted my brother na nakasalampak ngayon sa sahig kasama ang mga libro niya. So studious. Ako rin studious but I always spare weekends coz I plan to make my weekends relaxing amd enjoying na hindi ko nagagawa kapag weekdays dahil sa mga pa on the spot quiz at long quiz ni Ma'am at Sir.

"Good evening Mike" he give me a peck on top of my head and went back to studying again. Habang ako ay dumiretso ng kusina dahil alam kong nandoon si Mommy at nagluluto dahil amoy na amoy ko ang aroma ng adobong niluluto niya.

"Good evening sweetheart, how's your day?"

"Good evening My, okay naman po. Mejo hectic lang dahil sa papalapit na event ng school" I even pouted to gain her symphaty which made her smile.

"Come here" she demanded and open her arms wide to give me a comfortable hug so without second though, I obligue. Mother's warmth is always amazing. "Anong oras nga ulit ang program niyo next week?"

"8:00 A.M po ang start" we already let go of the hug dahil nagluluto nga siya. My mom's also a working mom. She works 8 hours a day like others but still finds time for us. And i'm very thankful for that. Nasaksihan ko kung paano mag dusa at masaktan ang mga kaibigan ko dahil wala silang good relationship with their parents. Call me names but I don't want that for myself.

I excuse myself to mom and went upstairs to fresh n' up at ng masagot narin ang tawag ng loka loka kong kaibigan na kanina pa nangungulit. Tsimosa talaga.

"What?" I annoyingly answer. Pero syempre joke joke lang para naman ma sense niya na ayoko ng tsismis pero what are friends for diba? Of course. Na sense niyang nag iinarte lang ako.

"Wag moko idaan sa kaartehan mo Mikee. Baka masabunutan kita"

"Like duh? As if" i scoffed and rolled my eyes as if she can see me. " ano na naman kailangan mo? Chika? Wala! Kaya bye na!" and I ended the call. Yes. Ganiyan kami mag usap. Others may thought that we're having a fight but its just natural for us. And yes also. Sinagot ko lang tawag niya para i-inform siyang ayoko mag share ng chika. Mamatay siya sa kuryusidad niya. Bwahahaha.

Weekend pass by so fast and Monday came. Maaga akong gumising- as usual. Dahil kaming officers ang naka toka ngayon sa flag ceremony at para narin makaiwas sa magaling kong kaibigan na binantaan ako buong weekend na kung di raw ako magkukwento ay sasabunitan niya ako but I did not budge. Bahala siya.

Malapit na ako sa office ng SC ng may biglang humila ng buhok ko.

"Gaga ka! How dare you ignore my calls and text" yeah. Its none other than my hell of a crazy friend Jin.

"Aray naman! Bitawan mo nga ako. Sayang ang oras ko sa pag ipit ng buhok ko kung sasabunutan mo lang" pakiusap ko habang tinatanggal ang kamay niya sa buhok ko pero ang bruha ayaw bumitaw kaya umikot ako at sinabunutan din siya. Kaya ang ending, nag sabunutan kami sa labas mismo ng office ng SC. Galing.

"Ehem!" napabitiw kami parehas sa isa't-isa ng may tumukhim sa gilid. Sabay din kaming napatingin dito.

"I'm looking for the SC President" i raise my hand kaya nabaling ang tingin niya sakin "your vice is looking for you at the quadrangle" he informed me and left without a word. So rude. Napabaling ako sa katabi ko at hinampas siya sa balikat bago tumakbo papuntang quadrangle dahil magsisimula na ang flag ceremony. I even pass by the rude guy pero diko na pinansin. Baka ipagkalat niya pang nakita niya ang SC President na nakikipag sabunutan ke aga-aga. Masira pa ang reputasyon ko. Char!

"Sorry i'm late" bungad ko sa mga co-officer ko na nag reready na sa gilid ng flat form.

"It's okay. And you're not that late. Di pa naman nagsisimula ang flag at wala pa din ang mga teachers" it was my Vice- Vincent who response so I give him a small smile. Minutes after we finalize our program flow ay nag umpisa na kami and is now nearing to its end.

"The Chairperson would like to have an announcement" sabi ng MC naming si Trisha-the P.I.O of the council kaya pumunta na ako sa harap to take over the stage.

"Good morning co-students" panimula ko " As you all know, we will ve having our nutrition months celebration this coming friday and we prepared ecents for us to enjoy. To those who still wants to join the events namely--
poster making, essay writing, nutri-quiz,poem writing at sulat-bigkas, do refer to your class president thank you" i was about to leave the stage when our secretary mouted something kaya napabalik ulit ako. "Also, the colors of your shirt on Friday will be posted on Wednesday. That's all thank you" after my announcement ay nag closing remarks and finally the morning program is done.

After we are down to our last subject for this afternoon ay drain na drain na talaga ako. Walang humpay na pabalik balik ang ginagawa ko dahil nga sa paparating na event kaya naman ng makarating sa bahay at ng makalapat ang likod ko sa kama ay nakatulog agad ako. Nagising lang ng tinawag para kumain pagkatapos ay nag half bath ng madalian at natulog ulit. If I have to put this day on to words, it would be exhausting.
