"Mikee! Group picture" tawag ni Jin kaya lumapit ako sa kanila.
Today's our graduation day. Thirty minutes from now ay magsisimula na ang program kaya nagkakagulo na kami sa room sa pagkuha ng kaniya kaniyang picture for remembrance. Be it solo or group.
The 5 of us take pictures. Starting off with the formal and ends with the silly one. We all have our solo and by pair. Nag picture din kaming tatlong girls and there's a picture too na dalawang boys lang kasama ko. It was fun.
We're too focus on the picture taking na kinailangan pa kaming puntahan ng adviser namin sa room para makapag ready na kami for the march.
I smiled seeing my parents waiting for me on the line. I can finally saw Cole smiling. Kanina kasi worried siya eh.
The program started. National anthem, prayer and opening remarks from one of the speakers and we were finally called to enter the hall for our graduation march. While waiting for my turn, I can't help being excited dahil di rin biro ang pinagdaanan namin sa loob ng dalawang taon.
Those 2 years are full of rainbows and rain.
"Smith, Mikee Mikaela S." I heard my name and I started walking towards the hall together with my parents. I even saw my brother and kuya Fort taking picture of us while we march, which made me smile.
Such a supportuve family I got.
I take my designated seat while they take theirs on the other side of the hall. Announcing us as graduates, giving of certificates, special awards and diploma. And closing of program.
"Again, congratulations graduates!" the MC said and we all stand from our seats and throw our hats and cheer for ourselves as we celebrate our graduation.
"I'm so proud of you Mikaela" my Dad said to me when I finally come to them after the never ending picture taking.
I hug him. "Love you all" I said with all my heart looking at them. Isa-isa ko silang niyakap and I cant help but shed a tear remembering how they guide and help me to get through my hardships always and be where I am today. I jut love my family.
I am in the middle of my momentum when Dad clear his throat as he look behind me, kaya napalingon din ako. And there, I saw my fellas coming our way with a smile on their faces, except for the other one who seems nervous and anxious.
"Hi po," Jin greeted my family first before the others follow.
"Hi guys, any plans for today? Get together?" My Mom excitedly ask.
"Wala po. Family day po muna, then tsaka lang po kaming lima mag-ge-get together" Cole answered for us. We plan to spend our graduation day with our family then maybe the day after or 2 we can finally spend our time together to bond and reminisce our SHS days.
"Pumunta lang po kami dito para mag-paalam and to congratulate Mikee too" Marain said this time.
"Thank you. Congrats din sa inyo" Dad said smiling.
They all said their thank you's and leave after some conversations leaving Brix alone.
