(Caroline's POV)

I walked into the guest room where Tyler was sleeping. He was taking up the whole king bed. He was on his stomach and his mouth was hanging open. His arm was falling off the bed. I hit him with a pillow and I walked to his backpack.

"Hey, what the hell?" Tyler groaned, moving a little.

"It's three-thirty. Wake up." I grabbed his backpack and placed it on the edge of his bed.

"Oh, fuck that." He turned back over and closed his eyes. I rolled my eyes out of frustration and hit him with another pillow and he turned back over to face me.

"Get up! We're leaving in thirty minutes." I walked over to the lamp and turned it on. He sighed and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"Caroline, you have to understand something. I'm a boy, you are a girl. It's going to take me two minutes to get ready. Not two fucking hours!" He yelled, causing me to laugh. He turned off the light and laid back down. "So if you would be so kind and wake me up in twenty minutes."

"If you're not up and dressed by four, I will leave you here." I walked out as Tyler raised his middle finger at me. I walked down to my kitchen where my mom made some breakfast.

"Still asleep?" My mom asked as I sat on the barstool.

"Yep." She smiled and placed a plate in front of me.

"Give him a break. He's... well you know." I looked up and nodded, not needing her to finish the sentence.

"Yeah, I know."

Suddenly, a door swung open and Tyler's footsteps were running down the stairs. My mom and I turned our attention to Tyler, who was struggling to put on a shirt. He finally got the shirt over his head and smiled.

"You didn't tell me Liz made breakfast. I would've been down here a lot earlier." He said, sitting down next to me. My mom glanced at me with a smile and turned back to the stove to make a plate for him. I looked over at him.

"I figured I would surprise you," I said, cutting my egg open while my mom placed the plate in front of him.

"Liz Brooks's cooking is the only thing that will get me out of bed this early." He immediately started to eat.

"Well, thank you, Tyler. I'll go start the car. Eat fast, we have to leave in ten minutes." Liz walked away and grabbed her keys. I looked over at Tyler, who was still stuffing his face with bacon and eggs.

"Are you even breathing?" He held up his pointer finger at me and sat up. My eyes widened at the sudden need to tell me to shut up.

"Don't talk to me until I get in my energy." I chuckled and smacked his finger out of my face. We ate their food in silence. Occasionally, Tyler would moan at the taste of the food and I would scoff at him. It was gross to listen to his moaning.

"Are you guys ready?" Liz asked, coming back into the kitchen. I took Tyler's plate and put it in the sink.

"Yep," Tyler said.

He grabbed his backpack and placed one strap on his shoulder as he stood up. He was waiting for me to finish putting our dishes in the dishwasher. I grabbed my backpack. He was kind enough to grab my suitcase with his so I didn't have to carry it. That was one thing about the boys that all of us girls appreciated. They were gentlemen. We walked to the trunk as the rest of the crew started to walk out of their houses with their parents.

Madelyn was used to waking up this early, so she didn't seem bothered. Instead, she was jumping around and smiling. Danielle looked extremely tired and could barely open her eyes. Jason looked like he was ready to murder someone if someone looked at him the wrong way. Ethan was wrapped in a blanket and his eyes were red. Noah looked like he could fall asleep where he was standing. He was forced to wake up this early for football practice, but he always hated it.
