(Caroline's POV)

I was exhausted from our long drawn-out training yesterday. I felt like my powers were sucking energy from me. Maybe I was just pushing myself too hard, but I was tired. I did feel like with each session I was getting stronger and better with my powers. Although Kristine was barely trustworthy, I had to give her props for her training skills.

Ethan can throw electric whips at people. Jason can throw electricity at people by running around them. He can also throw electricity at Ethan so that Ethan can absorb the electricity and shoot it right back out. Madelyn has learned how to control her powers more and she can throw fireballs, manipulate fire, and shoot it out of her hands. I'm pretty sure that when her powers get stronger, the fire becomes hotter because I saw some blue in her palm.

Noah's light keeps getting brighter and brighter, making it harder to look at him while he uses his powers. He can absorb light, not electricity, and he uses it as a force. He can shoot out a beam of light and when it hits the holograms, it looks like it burns them and pushes them back. Tyler has learned how to shoot the water more forcefully. It shoots from his hand and crashes against the wall with a smack. He also can manipulate water, raising it from glasses. She's also trying to teach him how to manipulate blood inside of humans, as a last resort. Danielle has the best power in my opinion. Her telekinesis is getting stronger. She can lift heavier objects and throw them across the room. She has learned how to manipulate objects by taking them apart with her powers. Kristine is focusing on more analytical skills for Danielle.

She's teaching me how to manipulate ice. I can build an ice shield to protect me from fire. I never thought I could stop fire for a little bit. I can also break metal and withstand hot temperatures because my body is so cold. If we weren't trapped on Nani, I would stay here forever just to play with Mana.

She's also teaching all of us how to fight with our hands in case they overpower us. It was crazy how much she knew. It was still confusing to me why she wanted to help us so badly and how she learned how to do all of this. I just don't understand why she's trying to help us against her husband. Not to mention the chips left in Tyler, Danielle, and Ethan's rooms. They have yet to find any in the rest of our rooms, but it would make it even more confusing if it was just in their rooms.

After the training session, we went to our separate rooms to shower and change. We had a longer session today because she had to teach us more than normal. We also had to stretch out our suits, and I loved mine. They all looked great, but mine felt amazing. Last night was a bit awkward. Danielle and I haven't spoken to each other since the training session yesterday and we had to sit with each other at dinner. Not to mention Noah and Tyler kissing me a couple of nights ago.

I hated that I made Tyler upset, but he can't just kiss me and expect me to fall in love with him. I understand that we're incredibly close. We've joked around about dating but it would be too awkward because we were so close and he was like my brother. I couldn't imagine why he would think I would like him back. He didn't even want a relationship with me. He just wanted to kiss me. Something must've happened between Tyler and Madelyn that sent him over the edge that night. He also must've seen Noah walk out of my room because, within a few seconds, he was in my room throwing all sorts of accusations at me.

Danielle and Ethan are together, but I know Danielle and Tyler are close. Ethan also has a past with Rebecca. We didn't know the extent of it. I knew something must've happened between them, but I didn't realize it was as serious as Rebecca was making it seem. Although, she might've done that as a way to get under Danielle's skin. Tyler and Madelyn can't be together because Madelyn and Jason are supposed to be together. He's so in love with her, it almost hurts to watch her constantly overlook his gestures. I remember our junior year and we were all rooting for Madelyn and Jason to get together. Something must've happened to them that none of us knew because one day, they weren't as touchy as they should've been.
