(Ethan's POV)

My eyes widened as I looked ahead of us. My heart raced and I looked over at Noah, who looked just as shocked as I did. This was something I didn't expect to see any time soon. I was almost certain we would never see this as long as we were on the island.

"How did you find her?" Noah asked.

"I saw her when I stormed out to blow off some steam. She was walking around the neighborhood." Tyler explained, running his fingers through his hair.

"Are you just going to stand there or hug me?" She asked. I immediately ran down the steps, pushing past the other two boys, and pulled her into a long hug. "I missed you!" It sounded like she was fighting tears and she sighed out of relief.

"Are you okay?" I asked, pulling away from her. She smiled and looked up at me with tears pooling in her eyes. I was pushed back by Noah and he pulled her into a hug too.

"Yeah, I'm okay." She assured as she buried her head into Noah's shoulder. She let go and Tyler pulled her into a hug.

"I thought we weren't going to see you again," Tyler whispered to her. She smiled and they let go. It was weird to see her.

She looked so different than she did before. She had clean clothes, her hair was back to its old braids, and she looked like she had a full eight hours of sleep. She looked clean and healthy. She had a beautiful smile on her lips again and she looked like she was fit again. She looked like how she did when she arrived on the island.

"What happened to you?" I asked as they let go. She smiled, which caused me to smile.

"Jason and I were saved by someone. I have to take you to meet her!" Her eyes lit up just like they used to before all of this mess happened.

Confusion spread across my face. I didn't know what she meant by she was saved. I know Jason took her away, but I only know of one other person who might've helped, and that's Kaeo, but she said it was a woman. So many questions were rolling through my head and I was very skeptical of her excitement. For all we know, Rebecca could've done something to her before they escaped and she could be brainwashed right now.

"Wait, wait, what do you mean you were saved?" I asked, crossing my arms. I felt like I was the only one who was worried about this. Noah and Tyler looked ecstatic that Madelyn was standing in front of us, and that they didn't care what she was saying.

"This woman, she's been teaching us how to control our powers. She's been teaching me how to use my powers without losing control. We thought that, after we learned enough, we could come to find you, but then she said that you guys escaped." I looked around at the other boys and they returned with the same confused and concerned look.

"How did she know we escaped?" Noah asked.

"And how did she find you?" Tyler asked.

"What happened to you?" I asked, stepping forward to try and get a better look at her. This was a little weird, but I couldn't accept another girl being brainwashed. It was hard enough with just Danielle and Caroline.

"I'm fine, guys." She laughed. She looked like she was perfect, but something was off. "I promise."

"Where's Jason?" Tyler asked, looking around.

"He's looking for you guys. Although, he might be back at her house, which is where I need to take you." My eyebrows knitted together and I looked at her as if she had three heads. I was not going to walk into another Rebecca trap, especially if these girls still needed help.

"I don't think that's such a good idea," Noah said, looking over at Tyler and me.

"Okay, I know it may seem weird, but I promise I'll explain more. Are Caroline and Danielle here?" She started to run to the door and stress filled my body.
