(Danielle's POV)
I woke up with a pounding headache. It was weird to me because I haven't been as drunk as I was last night since the eleventh grade. I pressed my hand on my forehead as I forced myself to sit up. I looked down and saw I was still in my clothes from last night. I made my way out of my room and down to the kitchen where everyone has crowded around, looking like they wanted to die or go back to bed. I sat down on one of the bar stools and Noah pushed a cup of water to me.
"Where's Madelyn?" I asked, looking around.
"She went out for a run. We're going to go to the gym after we eat." Noah said, taking a sip from his water.
"Why are you screaming?" Tyler asked, rubbing his temples as he leaned against the counter. "I don't get how Madelyn can be so drunk and high and then the next morning, go on a fucking run." He started to yell by the end of his sentence and his voice rang in my ears, making my headache worse. I groaned and rubbed my head as Caroline looked up at him.
"Tyler shut up!" She yelled back. Just then, there was a pillow thrown at Caroline, causing her to whip around to Ethan, who was on the couch.
"Both of you, shut up." He groaned. I chuckled and looked up at Noah, who was trying not to laugh. Caroline threw the pillow back at Ethan and drank some of her water.
"Where's Jason?" I asked, looking around.
"He went to pick up some breakfast for us," Noah explained. I nodded and took another sip of water.
"I saw him sneaking out of Madelyn's room this morning," Caroline added. I looked at her with raised eyebrows and she nodded.
"Big deal, they're always in each other's rooms when they get drunk or high," Tyler added. Madelyn came into the house, breathing heavily and sweating. We drew our attention to her and she walked over to us.
"Is Jason back yet?" She asked, taking a cup of water Noah poured for her. She looked perfectly fine as if she didn't just get hammered last night. I don't know how she does it.
"Not yet," Tyler mumbled. She leaned against him and he brushed her off of him. "Get off of me." I chuckled and the door finally opened to reveal Jason coming in with a bag of food and a tray of to-go cups.
"I'm here, I'm here." He said, walking over to us. "Apparently, this is the best breakfast on the island. And we got it for free."
We all looked at each other, a little suspicious of why it was free. We shouldn't be getting all of this stuff for free. This isn't a normal thing that happens when your ticket gets messed up.
"Avocado toast and a protein shake for Madelyn..." Jason said, handing a box and cup to her.
"Yes." She whispered, placing it on the counter and opening the box. It looked really good. It even had a fancy-looking egg on top.
"Chocolate chip pancakes and a caramel iced coffee for Danielle." He said, handing me a box and a drink. I gladly took it and placed it in front of me.
"Thank you," I said, grabbing a fork and knife.
"Blueberry pancakes with bacon and eggs, over easy, and a classic chai latte for Caroline." He said, handing her food to her. She smiled and took it. "Eggs, bacon, and toast with a protein shake for Noah."
I chuckled and poured some syrup on my pancakes as he handed out the rest of the boxes. Ethan walked over to me and sat down next to me as he got his food. I smiled a little. He nudged my shoulder and I looked up at him to see him motioning to the syrup. He must've gotten drunk too last night because he was extremely quiet and had a mad look on his face. I gave him the bottle of syrup and he smiled and took it as he drizzled it on his pancakes.
