Chapter  Nineteen: Journey to NYU

I was tired as hell.

I was also nervous as hell.

I was looking for  a perfect dress to wear.

It was about 12:00pm.

My Mom went to her store for work even though it was a weekend but she normally closed at 02:30pm.

The house was empty. Isaac went to the movies with his friend, Cole went for a sleepover and he wasn't coming back till tomorrow.

Maya was swimming in the pool in the backyard and Nanny Zelda was watching her.
Nanny Zelda has been with us since I was little Six and she is in her late fifties.

So when I leave it will just be my dad, Baby Grace, Nanny Zelda and Maya.

I was going over to meet Noah's parent today and then from there we were going to his college for the day then we would back tomorrow night.

I was really nervous when he asked me. I couldn't say no. That would crush him especially after that moment with Timmy.
I have been antsy about the whole thing even when I know Zane would never tell Noah and we didn't actually do anything.

I decided not to tell Noah because there was nothing to tell plus I didn't want to get into a fight with him. Things were going so great with us and I didn't want to ruin it.

I haven't talked to Timmy after that day. I don't think there would be any need to talk to him about his feelings when he hasn't really showed any feelings. I'm just gonna let things play out.

He was literally on his way to pick me up and I wasn't even dressed yet.

I quickly settled on a short sleeved pink knee length gown and I put on heels.

I quickly did my makeup and straightened my brown hair.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in."

It was my dad.

"I can't believe my little girl is spending the night away from here with her boyfriend."
My dad said with a sad face. "Just be careful baby."

"Yeah dad. I will i promise."

"Listen I got you something." He said reaching into his pockets. He brought out a pepper spray and a whistle.

"Take these. Any wrong move don't think twice and spray him!"

We both burst into laughter.

"Omg dad i got it. Don't you think the rape whistle is a bit much."

It was common knowledge that my dad was totally a player before he settled down with my mom. Back in his hey days, all the girls wanted him.

"Nope. I know guys. Anything goes wrong call me and I'll drive down there if I have to."

And the scary part is im sure he is curious about that.

We were interrupted by Maya who barged into the room.

"Lily your boyfriend is here." She said giggling.

Ok.

I walked downstairs with my dad.

I spotted Noah in the living room in the sofa.
Immediately he saw me he got up.
