One night, Jenny woke up to the sound of shattered glass and screams. She instantly knew that it was her brother ( Daniel ) having his panic attack again. But she didn't mind it at all.... It was something she's used to, so it doesn't surprise her anymore.

" Jenny get over here! " Her mother shouts from the kitchen. But Jenny doesn't budge. It's 11 pm at night, and after finishing so many homework an hour ago, she had no energy to get up from her bed. " Jenny! " her mother shouts again.

Jenny gets up immediately before her mother gets the chance to barge into the bedroom. She opens her bedroom door, and walks to the kitchen. It was at that moment when the whole world started to implode before Jenny's eyes. Blood was scattered all over the kitchen counter and on the floor, and her mother was on the verge of tears. " Call an ambulance. Get my phone! Call for help! " She shouts as she grasps onto Daniel's arm, trying to stop the blood from gushing out.

Jenny just stands there, shock by all the blood that's scattered around. Her whole body started to weaken and numb by the sight of everything. Blood... it's blood. " Don't just stand there! Call for help Jenny! "

" Where's dad ? " Jenny asked as she grabs her mothers phone from the living room.

" He's still at work. Hurry up! " Her mother shouts at the top of her lungs as Daniel became unconscious.

Jenny dialed the number immediately and called. Once they answered, she explained the situation, and told them the way to her house. As soon as she hangs up, she runs back to the kitchen, and watch as her mom grips onto Daniels arm with a towel. Jenny looks around and sees a bunch of shattered plates all over the floor and a knife on Daniels other hand.

Jenny's heart sank, as if it was pulled down by an anchor she was unable to carry. Never in her whole life she witnessed her brother in this vulnerable state. It was clearly unexpected, and quite disturbing to see him like that. From all the loss of blood, she observes to see him still breathing, and sighs in relief as she carefully takes the knife away from his hand.

The sound of siren was heard but the cry from her mother was too deafening. Once the ambulance pulled over at the driveway, Jenny lets them into the house, and they took Daniel away in a stroller as one of the paramedics took over to hold onto his bleeding arm. Jenny followed as her mother gets into her own car, her clothes covered in blood, and drives down the road to follow the ambulance.

It was silent along the way, and Jenny understood why. She dials her father's phone number, and tells him what happened. After that, they arrived at the hospital in no time as they see them, pushing Daniel's stroller down the aisle, and into the emergency room. " You two should wait here. He'll be fine. " One of the nurses says as she closes the door.

Jenny's mother drops to her knees, crying in pain by what happened. Although Jenny was still trying to comprehend the situation, she could feel the agonizing pain her mother must be feeling.

" I told you to watch over him. " Her mother says under her breath. Jenny looks down at her with a confused expression displayed on her face. Her mother immediately gets up and turns to face Jenny. " What were you doing ? "

" What do you mean mom ? " Jenny asked, still confuse on what she's trying to point out.

" I came home to see your brother like that. What were you doing ? Didn't I tell you to watch over him in case he does something stupid like this ? " Her mother shouts. Luckily no one was around the waiting area, so it was only the two of them.
