" Kyla ? You chose Kyla ? And why ? " Neil asked in disappointment after hearing Jack's story about yesterday. He did say that he'll support Jack, but now that he made a very ignorant choice, he can't help but feel dissatisfied about his decision.

Jenny shakes her head in disapproval. "Everyone's been talking about her and Carl. Why would you say yes to her ? She'll hurt you again Jack. " She tells him.

They were all seated at their lunch table early in the morning for their breakfast, and the whole atmosphere around them was heated up. Jack stared at his food without saying anything, and they waited for him to speak up for his reasons.

Bea, who was bothered by the change of mood, decided to put an end to it. " Guys come on, let's just support Jack's decision. We all know that he really likes Kyla so we can't stop him. " She tells them.

" But you said you liked Lizzy... " Edna pointed out.

" Sometimes feelings can change drastically, and we can't help it. " Bea spoke up for him.

Jenny sees the dismal look displayed on Jack's face as he continued to stare down onto his food without saying anything. She sighed out loud, and patted him on the shoulder... " Alright, we understand. But if she dares hurt you again, I won't sit out this time. " She tells him. The rest of them nodded in agreement.

The cafeteria door busted open, and Lizzy walked in with her group of friends. She looked at Jack for a split second, and then looked away, trying to avoid him as if he's a stranger. Jack could see the pain in her eyes the moment they made eye contact, and he was filled with remorse since he was responsible for hurting her.

The news must've spread throughout campus.
" Head of the basketball team is taking straight A's girl to the homecoming. " Lizzy was pretty disheartened after hearing that as soon as she entered the school gates. She did tell Jack that she wouldn't stop him from going with Kyla but somehow, she regretted saying that.

Bea walked in her classroom, and takes a seat on her assigned table. After skipping school for two weeks, she still had plenty missing works to finish. It was impossible for her to focus on the new lesson, and her missing works at the same time, so Bea regretted a lot.

Unfortunately, their teacher would be 20 minutes late for an unknown reason. So when Bea's classmates were settled into their own tables, she took the opportunity to finish her missing works, and asked her seat mates for help.

Luckily Bea's classmates were well-behaved. Without any teacher supervision, they were all seated on their seats, and doing the homework they failed to finish. Procrastination is what students love to do, but get disappointed once they receive their grades. " Do you know how to do number three ? " Bea asked the person seated next to her.

But before her classmate could even speak or help. The classroom door busted open, and Carl steps inside with his friends behind him. Bea's seat mates dispersed in fear as Carl made his way towards her. She doesn't blame them though, since everyone knows that whoever blocks or goes through Carl's way, they wouldn't be able to make it out alive once he gets a hold of them. It's his aura that alerts them of what to do when he's around.

Bea started to panic. Her heart beat racing, and her palms covered in sweat. She froze once Carl takes a seat next to her. Her classmates watched, not doing anything to push Carl away from Bea. It's not like they couldn't, they weren't aware of how she's easily provoked by him. His eyes pierced into Bea's own, and they both sat there without saying anything for a minute now.

Bea gripped onto her pencil nervously as the whole classroom grew quiet. She hoped their teacher or anyone, would suddenly barged into the classroom to save her. But no one did, and now she's more petrified than she was a second ago.

Carl chuckled as he reached to grab the pencil away from her. Bea held onto it firmly, but he was too strong. " You naughty girl... " he smirked as he successfully took the pencil away. " I'm just scared you might stab me with it." He said, and waved the pencil in the air.

" Get away from me... " Bea tells him through gritted teeth.

Carl chuckled even more, and moved himself closer to her. Bea flinched in sudden fear, not knowing what he'll do. He reached for her hair, and brushed it behind her ear, exposing more of her face."Stop...please. " Bea breathes out.

" Relax Bea. I'm not going to hurt you. " Carl tells her.

" Then what do you want from me ? " Bea's eyebrows furrowed in anger, and she pushed herself away from him.

" Who are you going with to the homecoming ?" He asked.

" I'm not going. Now leave me alone. "

Carl bursted into laughter after hearing her response. He grabbed Bea by the arm, and pulled her closer to him, leaving no space between the both of them. " Go with me... to the homecoming." Carl whispered into her ear.

Bea immediately pushed him away. She got up from her seat, raised her hand, and slapped him on the face. It was entirely his fault for making her insecure, and traumatized. How dare he had the guts to ask her to homecoming after what he did to her. " You're crazy. F*** you." Bea spits out in pure anger.

Bea's classmates gasped, eyes fixed on the scene in front of them. No one bothered to step in before Carl could even go bonkers after getting hit. Surprisingly, he didn't do anything. He covered his cheek with his right hand, and stood up. By their height difference, Carl hovered Bea, and she took a step back in fear.

" What's going on ?! " Bea's teacher walked in on time. Carl, and his group of friends turned around to face the teacher. " Get out of my class! Go! " He shouted.

Carl turned around to face Bea again. " Think about it Bea. " He winked at her, and walked out of the classroom with his group of friends. Bea trembled a little, and one of her classmates swooped in to help her.

" Are you okay ? " She asked Bea, and helped her sit down.

" Yeah... " Bea tells her. She reached into her own bag, and grabbed a bottle of water out. She gulps the water down her throat, and steadied her heart from beating too fast. Her anxiety was getting better, and it improved over the days. But Carl had to ruin it all over again, and now she's back to the very start.

The teacher told the rest of the students to take a seat, and started the lecture. Bea wasn't able to focus the whole time, and would constantly get scolded at for slacking off. She couldn't help it, the thought of Carl picking on her all the time bothered her so much. If only she had the courage to speak up to a teacher about him, but she was too scared to cause another problem.

A problem that only she can deal with.
