A few more days later, Jenny can't help but think of a good plan to release all the stress they were feeling. So today, she decided to take all of them out on a road trip.

" It's 4am. Are you sure Bea's awake ? " Edna asked as she looks at her watch.

Neil and Jack were fast asleep at the back of the car. It was Jenny's idea to leave early on a Friday morning since it'll be easier for them to sneak out from home. It took a while for Jenny to plan everything perfectly, especially that her parents will wonder why she was gone for the whole day. The perfect excuse she can think of is " school field trip " which sounds pretty ridiculous because Norton High had stop planning field trips. After an incident six years ago of a student gone missing, they canceled all school field trips for the upcoming years. But hopefully Jenny's parents will believe her.

" Of course she is. She should be awake... " Jenny says as she parks the car across from Bea's house.

" So who's going to get her ? " Edna asked. The two girls turns their head around to look at the back seat, but Jack and Neil were still asleep.

" Guess it's us two... " Jenny shrugs. The both of them got down the car, and walked quietly to the back yard of Bea's house. Since the lights were on, she was wide awake.

The curtains were drawn aside and the window was already open. Bea's head pops out from the opening, eyes bulged open and a bright smile displayed on her face. " I received the text. " She says as she waves her phone in the air.

" Hold on... " They watch as she gathers her stuffs, locks her bedroom door, and turns the light off. After putting on her shoes, she hops out of the window and greeted the both of them with a warm hug. She hasn't been to school for four days now, so she was happy to see them again. After the Carl incident, she wasn't ready to face anybody in school who knew what'd happened. So she'll wait it out once everyone forgets about it.

" How are you feeling ? " Jenny asked as they head back to the car quietly.

" After seeing you guys again, I feel much better." Bea smiles brightly. When she received the text about going on a road trip, she's excited for it. This will help her forget and ease her mind after everything that had happened.

They hop into the car and Bea made sure Neil and Jack doesn't wake up when she squeezes herself next to them. Once they settled in, Jenny drives down the road, and stops at a nearby gas station. " It's going to be a two hour drive to get to our destination. You girls should use the restroom and buy as much snacks as possible. " She tells them.

" What about the boys ? " Bea asked. They all look at Neil and Jack whose mouths are wide open and snoring.

" Never mind. Don't wake them up. " Edna warns them. If the both of them were to wake up now, she knew that along the way it'll be chaotic.

After leaving the gas station, Jenny continued to drive down the road, leaving the tiny town behind them. Through the highway, the golden rays of the sun, rising from the horizon, gave a bright orange color to the clouds and meadows, and three girls took in the beauty that surrounded them.

Jenny gave it a thought. She's been craving to go on a road trip like this because she loves the driven excitement to escape from everything. From home and from school. It's what she dreamt of doing, but she never imagined it to be with a group of friends. Along the way, she rolls down the window of the car, and turns on a light music to lighten up the mood a little more.

" So what beach are we going too ? " Bea asked, distracting Jenny and Edna from admiring the beautiful scenery.

" Somewhere fun and safe... " Edna answers as she puts her phone away and pulls out a map from her bag. She observes it carefully, her fingers trailing the road they're taking.
" So if we're here. Then our destination is here." She says. She moves her fingers upwards to the exact spot they'll be hanging out.
