Edna Percy was very fond of art, music, and dance. It's what she's born to do, but living with an alcoholic father and a bossy mother, she loses that passion. Unlike any other teens who smokes and drinks to fill in their void of emptiness, she learns to keep her mind off of those things and be more independent on her own. At times she feels lonely, hopeless, and tired but what's keeping her alive is her hidden desire of her dreams.

Jenny Rose is like an actual rose. She blooms brightly and gives off happiness to the people around her. But in reality, all roses have thorns on them. Jenny is tired of living the same life again and again. She wants something more, something fun and exciting that teens in her age are supposed to experience, but with a depressive brother in her household, her parents expects so much from her. There are times when roses gives off the biggest joy, but in the end they whither and disappear.

A boy who struggles. Neil Aldrin is full of secrets. He lives his life hiding his true identity, because he fears that people will despise him, just like how his father does. He roams the empty streets of the town every night to find something that makes him feel alive.
He knows that not everything we wish for will happen, but with a little amount of hope in him, he wishes that someday his father will accept him for who he is. A boy with invisible wounds, he brushes it off, and spreads love to the people who does care for him.

Bea Doza is brightly positive in every bad situation. She's an optimistic girl. A person who gives you hope. With many younger siblings she has to watch out for, it isn't easy for her, especially when she isn't the "favorite" child in her household. Bea had to live her life with a mother who verbally abuses her, and growing up without a father figure, she feels lonely. For once in her life, she wishes that someone out there will understand her, but the usual bright and lovely child she was born to be, she continues to shine in every dark places life takes her.

Lastly it's Jack Santos. The one that holds them together. The "not really popular but also popular amongst the girls" in school. Although Jack has a lot of girls waiting in line for him, he struggles on his one sided love. With an apathetic mother, he tries his best to make her proud, but it completely drains him. A complete jerk on the outside but a softy in the inside, Jack cares for those closes to him; however, he doesn't show it. The type of person who keeps things to himself, he struggles to express his feelings. But nothing defeats the love he has for basketball, and the girl right across the hall.
