" Guys look at this. " Bea walked towards the table where the others were gathered together, playing cards. They watched as Bea settled down near them, and showed a booklet she found at the bookshelf. She opened the booklet, and pictures were glued on each pages followed by other writings and decorations.
" What is this ? " Jenny got up quickly from her seat, and walked towards Bea to look at the booklet closely.
" Some kind of children scrapbook. " Jack said.
" It's probably the ones that used this room. I mean look! " Neil pointed at one of the pictures where five students were having a party.
Bea immediately took the small photo that they first found in this room off her wallet, and placed it next to the picture. They were the same people, the ones in the small photo and the ones in the booklet. " Wow." Bea sighed out loud.
" You know... " Jack grabbed the mini photo. He looked at it closely, and held it up in the air to get a clear look on it by the light. " This dude looks really familiar. " He pointed at the certain person.
" Right! I also find him familiar. " Bea said. Neil took the photo away, and looked at it very closely to see if he could recognize the boy too. Edna looked over his shoulder and she did too, found him familiar.
As they were pinpointing who the boy might be, Jenny grabbed the booklet, and went through it. Unfortunately, not all of the pages were used, all of the scribbles, pictures, and writings stopped at the middle of the booklet. She stopped at a picture that only showed four of them. The fifth person must've taken this picture. Jenny thought to herself. Her eyes gazed upon a journal entry and she read it.
To my friends,
Today is my birthday, thank you for celebrating this day with me. I felt unworthy on certain days, and wished to never been born. But you, my friends, changed that. I didn't want to celebrate this day since I thought I shouldn't. But taking this picture of you guys smiling on my birthday, made me realized that I'm loved.
Jenny stopped reading as tears formed in her eyes. The journal started off emotional, and she couldn't read much more of it without bawling her eyes out. But she continues to read..
I will keep this day in my heart until the day I die. For blessings have been brought to me. It's you, my friends.
After this day, the day after tomorrow, and for eternity, I will never forget the happiness and joy we had as friends and the memories we made in this room. I finally love my life and for that, thank you.Sincerely, Salvador Edgar.
" Salvador Edgar ? Mr. Edgar ?!" Jenny breathed out loud. She wiped the tears away from her eyes. The journal entry was indeed emotional, but she couldn't believe that the person who wrote it was their teacher. "Guys. Guys! " Jenny said out loud, and they averted their attention on her.
" The reason that boy looks familiar...it's Mr.Edgar." Jenny said, and she pointed at the name printed at the bottom of the journal entry she just read.
" No way... "

After classes ended, and it was time for lunch, Jack met Edna and the others outside of Mr.Edgar's classroom.
" Are you sure about this ? What if we get in trouble for using that room! " Neil whispered as he stopped Edna from opening the classroom door. For all they know, the person who wrote the journal entry might not be Mr.Edgar, but something assures them that it was, and they wanted to find out.
