I woke up to Ariana Grande's song no tears left to cry blasting though my walls.
"uhh!" I groan out of annoyance.
Of course Ashlyn just had to play her music this loud while I'm trying to sleep.
I get out of my bed and walk to my cousin's room. When I get to her room the door is wide open and I see her dancing around holding a hairbrush in her hand and singing into it.

I have to admit, my cousin is an amazing singer but right now, I'm trying to get some beauty sleep and can't with her singing this loud and her radio blasting.
She notices me standing in the door and goes over to her radio turning the volume down.
"Oh my god finally you're up you've been sleeping all day!" Ashlyn tells me.
"What are you talking about it's not even that late"
"You do know it's 5 in the afternoon right?"
"What no it's not."
I say checking the time on her clock. I look at the time to find out that it is indeed 5:00 pm.
"You sure about that" Ashlyn ask raising her eyebrows.
"Well...I'm a growing boy...so I'm gonna sleep a lot" I say.
She rolls her eyes at me and goes to radio to continue her singing. I get ready to leave her room when she calls my name making me turn around.
"Mom and Dad are taking us out for dinner at 7 so be ready"
"Ok" I said before leaving her room.
Before I'm even a few inches away from the door I can hear her music blasting again. I just shake my head and laugh to myself before going downstairs to the kitchen.
When I get to the kitchen I see my Aunt Debby who is washing the dishes. She doesn't notice me walk in. I go up to the freezer and open to see what there is to eat.
"Oh EJ good you're alive" my aunt jokes.
"Yeah, I guess I am" I laugh
"Let me guess up on your phone last"
"What Noooo"
I grab the tub of ice cream and go to grab a spoon. I sit in the counter and peel open the cap to reveal a little bit of chocolate ice cream. But before I could dig in to that deliciousness my aunt snatches it out my hand and put it back.
"Hey!"
"Don't hey me you know the rules no eating sweets when you first wake up."
"But it's literally the afternoon shouldn't that only apply in the morning?!?" I argue
