Ricky's POV-
"Please. Please. Please. Please..."
"Oh my god EJ, no!"
He frowns at me putting the flyer in my face again.
"I will rip that stupid piece of paper if you put that in my face again." I say not looking up at EJ.
He was supposed to be in class right now. He went to use the bathroom and spotted me in the library, now he won't stop bugging me about the school musical.
"What's your problem with musicals?" He ask taking away the comic book I was reading.
"I don't have a problem with them, I just have a problem with being in them." I mumble.
He looks at me confused for a second before realization struck him.
"Aww are you nervous to audition in front of everyone one." He ask and I dig my face in his chest nodding my head.
It's not my fault I freeze up when all the attention is on me in a big crowd.
"I already hate talking to people I don't know how would I be able to audition in front complete strangers?" I whine. He puts his arm around me in a comforting way. He smells like that cologne he always wear that Nini hate, but I love it.
"The whole gang will be auditioning so it won't be in front of complete stranger and I know Ms Jenn would love one more addition to the drama club." He says giving me his signature smile I can't say no to.
"Ugh!" I take the flyer out his hand shoving it in my backpack. "I'll think about it, ok?"
"Yes! Thank you curls, your the best!" He says before kissing my cheek and running off back to class.
I stay frozen where I am to shocked at what happened. He kissed me! Ej Caswell kissed me!
"Mr. Bowen do need to see the nurse? You're face is all red." The teacher ask me.
Still too shocked to talked I shake my head and she walks away. I won't be able to concentrate for the rest of the school year.
-After School-
I hear the final bell ring and students walking out the classroom but I'm too in my thoughts to care. Ej Caswell kissed me! I know he didn't mean it in a romantic way but he still did it and my smile did not drop.
"Rick come on! Schools over." Gina says waving her hand in my face.
I shake my head getting out my thought and pack up.
"What are you smiling about?" She ask smirking.
"N-nothing, just really happy schools over." I say.
She looks at me narrowing her eyes."Yeah I'm not buying that Bowen, spill." She says grabbing my hands as we walk in the halls.
"Come on Ricky, remember what I said..."
"I know, I know, I can tell you anything. But it's really nothing and I'm just over exaggerating."
She's quite for a second before dragging me into a a classroom.
"Dose it have to do with Ej?" She ask raising her eyebrows with a smirk.
Obviously that's the first person she guessed. But I don't blame her, I talk about Ej a lot with her.
"Yeah, I kinda can't stop smiling because he kissed me today." I whisper feeling my face heat up.
I look up at Gina after hearing nothing from her and her smirk has turned into a I'm going to kill you face. Oh no, now I'm scared.
"He kissed you?!"
I gulp nodding my head. Why is she so mad about this? Does she like him, she told me she doesn't like Ej.
"Did you kiss him back." She ask stepping forward and I step back hoping not to get punched.
"N-no." I stutter and she seems to relax a little.
"Ok good, but how is Nini going to react when she finds out her boyfriend kissed you?!" She yells.
I now look at her confused and a little less terrified. Why is she over reacting about this.
"Gi, it's not that big of a deal..."
"Of course it's that big of a deal! Ej cheated on Nini! Oh when we get out there I'm going beat his ass and make him wish he never cheated on someone as beautiful as Nini!"
Wait, cheated? I've never dated anyone but I'm pretty sure kissing a friend on the cheek isn't considered cheating on someone.
(I actually have no idea because ya girl's been single for her whole life)
"Wait Gi, you know Ej kissed me on the cheek, right?"
She stops going around in circles and looks at me surprised, her face turning red.
"Oh." Was all she said and I laughed putting my arm around her.
"Yes I would love to have my first kiss with the Ej Caswell, but I know better not kiss a guy who's in a relationship and Ej doesn't even like guys."
She nods her head pulling me out the door and we continue our journey to the others.
"Yeah, sorry for going over board, I just don't want anything bad happening to Nini." She says smiling her face turning red. Somethings up but I'll figure it out later.
As we make it out to the exit I can't help but think of what it would actually be like to kiss Ej which causes my face to become red like Gina's.
"Come on." Gina says before dragging me behind her as we run outside to try and catch our friends. We make it to the others who were waiting outside, well some of them, I guess the others already went home. It was just Ej, Nini, Ashlyn, Carlos and Big Red.
"What took you guys so long?" Ej asked worriedly.
Me and Gina both look at each other then turning back to Ej.
"Homework!" She says at the same time I say, "Bathroom!"
Ej and Nini both look at us suspiciously.
"Why are your faces red?" Ashlyn ask us tilting her head.
"And why are you guys out of breath?" Carlos ask smirking.
Why is he smirking like that? What does he think...oh no.
"No it's not what you think Carlos!" I say quickly.
"We just ran here to get to you guys that's all!" Gina says pointing at them.
I look over at Ej and Nini, who have frowns on their faces. Why do they look upset. I walk over to Ej and hold his other hand.
"Are you ok?" I ask and he nods his head clearing his throat.
"Y-yeah, yeah I'm fine. I should go...I'll talk to you later curls." He says before leaving with Nini and Ashlyn.
Weird.
I say bye to Gina and and Red before skating home, headphones in my ear listing to music. The wind was blowing in my face making my hair fly everywhere but it felt nice.
When I got home I toed my shoes off and stopped in the kitchen.
"Hey dad." I say grabbing an apple.
"Hey kiddo! Listen I know you didn't like it the first time but mom wants you to see her again." He says and I choke on a piece of my fruit.
"What! Why I already saw her, can't we just FaceTime or something." I yell angrily.
The first time I went to visit her was weird, especially at dinner time. She would act like she was interested in what I did but her face would always be on her phone and she kept talking about someone she wants me to meet."
"Your mom doesn't see you a lot..."My dad starts.
"Yeah, because she moved out." I huff.
"Just please do it Rick, after all she is your mother." He says before walking to the living room.
I stomp up the stairs throwing my backpack on my chair I take off my jeans and sweater and change into some sweatpants and a shirt. I open my bag and take out my work putting it on my desk. I throw my bag carelessly behind me and start it.
After awhile of some math I could sense something in back of me. You know, that feeling when you can feel someone's starting at you even when your not looking in that direction? Yup, that's the exact thing I'm feeling right now.  I cautiously turn around in my chair and almost scream when I see someone in front of me.
"No don't scream! It's me, Bionic Man." He says.
My face goes red and my nerves calm down.
"H-how did you know where I live? And how did you get in my house?" I asked kind of freaked out.
There is a hot super hero in my room I have no idea how to react.
"Oh, it's one of my powers, teleporting."
I nods my head still a little flustered.
"Oh-uh-cool...what are you doing here?" I ask not trying to sound rude. Wouldn't want him to blow my head off or something if I made him mad.
"Just wanted to stop by...you know, after what happened at the mall. Just wanted to make sure you're ok." He says blushing a little.
Aww he's so sweet, and hot. I think I already said that.
"Oh thank you but you didn't have to do that Bionic Manq."
He shakes his head. "No, i did. You know, this is my first time being a super hero so I just want to make sure I do everything right and save everyone I can."
I give him a warm smile. "Well we really appreciate you hear, and your super hero friends too."
He nods his head walking close to me and I can feel my heart beating super fast.
"Ugh, school work! I hate it." He says.
"Yeah, me too. Especially math, like who even understands this stuff?"
He looks down at my paper a chuckles. "Dude, it's not even that hard, here let me help." He says leaning down next to me telling me what to do. But of course I wasn't focused on the math because I was to focused on his jawline.
"T-thanks." I stutter and he laughs.
"No problem. Oh cool you in to musicals?" He ask grabbing the flyer from my pile of paper.
"Ha! No way you would never catch me in one of those, but I'm auditioning because one of my good friends was begging me to." I smile thinking of Ej.
"Ohh, tell me about this friend. Is he cool? I bet he is. He's probably the most amazing person to walk this earth." He says making me laugh.
"Yeah, yeah he's something. His names Ej and sometimes he can be a little annoying..." I say jokingly but Bionic Man looks hurt but I push past it.
"But he's really amazing. He's really confident and seems like a mean jock but he's so kind and understanding, I feel like I can be my true self when I'm around him and not the shy skater who has no friends." I say and he looks at me with a smile.
"He's also always there for me when I have my family problems so I'm going to try and audition for this...thing tomorrow, hopefully I won't have a panic attack." I say laughing at the last part.
He doesn't say anything causing me to look up.
"Are you crying?" I ask surprised.
He quickly wipes his eyes with the back of his hand.
"W-what, n-no! I just,have something in my eye.
I roll my eyes playful knowing damn well he's crying. Probably because of the way I talked about Ej, didn't know superhero's were so emotional.
"S-so you said he's annoying sometimes?" He says a little sad.
"Well I was joking about that part." I laugh.
"But you said he was bugging you about auditioning. I don't think he meant to annoy you, he probably just wanted his good friend to be there with him. And I'm pretty sure he would only want you to do it if you really wanted to."
Wow. Did not expect him to say all that, but maybe he's right. I don't have to do it just because Ej wants me to.
"Yeah, your right. So...what about you? What's your life like?"
He takes awhile to answer, probably thinking about how to tell me about himself without tell me about his true identity.
"Uh well...I help people." He says and I roll my eyes. Obviously he saves people, that's kinda his job.
"Ok...what about when your not helping people?"
He takes another few seconds to think before answering.
"I train."
Well I guess that's really the only things he can say about himself.
"Sorry, I know my life is pretty boring." He says chuckling.
"Boring? Yeah, I mean being a superhero and going on secret missions are totally boring." I say sarcastically and he laughs making me laugh.
We were laughing so much that I didn't hear the footsteps coming up the stairs. There was a knock on my door making me and Ej jump.
Oh no! My dad opens the door and I  freak out. What is he going to think when he sees Bionic Man sitting in my room.
"You ok kiddo?" My dad ask. "I thought I heard someone in here."Why isn't he asking why I have a whole superhero in my room? I look around my room to see he's not here.
"I'm fine dad, no ones here." I say disappointedly.
"Ok, I order pizza for tonight, it should be here in 25 minutes."
I nod my head and he leaves the room.
"That was a close one." Bionic Man whispers and I jump out of my chair.
"What the hell dude! You scared the shit out of me!" I whisper back.
"Sorry I should of said I was turning invisible." He chuckles. "I should get going home."
I frown, I don't know why I'm so upset about him leaving. We don't even know each other like that.
"Ok, thanks for stopping by, I had fun." I smile and he smiles back.
"I had fun too, and uh...don't tell anyone about this. Ok?"
I nod my head pretending to zip up my mouth.
"You're such a dork. We should do this again, it can be our little secret." He says winking and I'm pretty sure at that moment I forgot how to breath."
I nod my head not able to talk and he vanishes out of thin air. I let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding.
I fall on my bed smiling at the ceiling. I think I might like him...No! No Ricky what are you talking about?! You can't like him you liked Ej first so you have to stick with him. But, Ej is straight and Bionic Man could be into guys. I really want to know who's under the mask.

Hey guys finally updated again! I started school on Monday and I really want to cry. February break needs to hurry up and come! Tomorrow(January 7th 2021) is Sofia's 17th birthday! I'll be posting an edit for her on my edit account and my fan account of Sofia I'll put them down below you can go follow if you want. Hope everyone had an amazing day today, stay safe!
