EJ POV-

"So what is there to talk about. You already told me everything."

"I know, and I know your still mad but obviously you have questions so ask them."

He's right. I do have questions, I have bunch of them. I was silent thinking of what to ask first.

"Why didn't you tell dad to not go in the building?" I ask, tears threatening to spill from my eyes.

Uncle Dennis sighs. "EJ, I did try. I did all that I could, I told him he could get hurt, I told him he wouldn't be able to save the people but he did anyways. And he ended up saving everyone in that building, but he-"

"He couldn't save himself." I say a tear slipping down my face.

"You know everyday I look at you, I see him." Uncle Dennis says with a sad smile. "You look just like him, and you act just like him."

"I do?"

"Yeah, you're always cracking jokes like he did, even when they weren't funny. You're very confident like he was, you guys also both have a smart mouth always giving people sass."

We all laugh and wipe wipe our tears away.

"He always thought of other people first. Would never be satisfied if everyone wasn't happy or safe . Even when he was having a bad day, he always put smile on people faces, just like how you do everyday." He says smiling at me.

"Was he thinking of me. You know, before he decided to go into that fire? " I whisper my voice cracking.

"Of course he was thinking about you EJ, you were his first and only son, he loved you so much." Aunt Debby says putting her hand on top of mines.

I wipe my eyes with my sleeve but it's no use because more tears slip down my face until I put my arm down and just let the salty water run down my face.

"Aww EJ." Ashlyn cries getting up from her spot to hug me.

I cry into her shoulder holding her tightly. She rubs circles on my back and shushes me trying to calm me down. Aunt Debby and Uncle Dennis come over next and join the hug. Now everyone is crying and we're all trying to calm each other down.

After some time Uncle Dennis gets up and wipes his eyes. "Hold on I'll be back." He says before disappearing up the stairs.

He comes back down with two things in his hands. When he sits down he places the objects on the coffee table. It's a book and a small black box with purple ribbon around it.

"This." He says while picking up the book. "This is a very special book. it's all the test me and your dad did and some designs I came up with."

"What were the test on?" Ashlyn ask while Uncle Dennis hands me the book.

"Well, they were test on his ability. We did test runs to see what powers he had, his strengths, weaknesses."

I flip through the book looking at the page full of all dads powers.

"He had invisibility, just like me." I said smiling

"What's in the box?" Ashlyn asked.

Uncle Dennis picked it up and handed it to me. "It's for your cousin."

I take the box and open it. Inside is a shining silver ring with writing in the inside that says "BIONIC" in cursive.

"It was your dad's, before he...went in the fire he took off the ring, gave it to me and told me to give it to you at the right time."
