My fingers tapped on the steering wheel as I listened to the radio. The window was down and I could feel a nice breeze blowing in my face.
I parked outside my girlfriends house. I opened the car door and grab the food pushing it closed with my foot. I walk up to the door but before I could ring the bell her mother opens the door.
"Oh hey EJ we were just about to head out." Mrs. C says.
"Oh ok, I just came to spend some time with Nini."
"Ok well feel free to eat or drink whatever you want. But you know the important rules for when you guys are alone." Mrs. D says.
"Yes I know, no touching anywhere below the shoulders, my kisses should only stay on the cheek and no hickies." I say laughing.
Mrs. D has always been like this ever since I started dating Nini. Since I'm Nini's first boyfriend she's really strict about touching. When we went on our first date she made a list of rules that I had to follow, and it was kinda ridiculous. Good thing Mrs. C talked to her so now it's just 4 rules that I have to follow.
1•No touching anywhere below the shoulders
2•Kisses should only stay on the cheek( which it doesn't when we're alone.)
3• No hickies(haven't broken that one yet)
4• Don't break her heart(which I never plan on doing)
"Alright we'll be back later have fun."
I waved to them from inside the house and closes the door as they drove away. I walk up the stairs Nini's room and look inside. There I see my beautiful baby. She's laying on her stomach, feet kicking back and forth in the air listening to something with her headphones on.
She doesn't realize my presence so I place the food on her desk and walk up to her bed sitting on the side. She takes off her headphones off and looks at me.
"EJ!!" She says happily jumping into my arms knocking me down in the process . "I missed you."
"I missed you too baby." I lean in to kiss her but before my lips can touch hers she put a finger to my lips.
"Are my moms gone." She ask slightly worried.
"Yes babe it's just you and me for awhile." I say smiling.
"Good." She says with a smirk on her face.
She removes her finger and leans down to kiss me. I kiss her back immediately smiling into it. People say that you're supposed to feel butterflies when you kiss someone but I've never felt that with Nini. Well everyone has different reactions in their relationship, right?
We sat up our lips still connected with Nini in my lap. She slides off my jacket and slides her hand up my shirt. She tries to lift my shirt off but I break the kiss.
She looks at me in confusion tilting her to the side, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." I lie "It's just the food, it might get cold if we don't eat it now."
"Oh ok." She says sounding disappointed.
The real reason I stopped the kiss is because it just didn't feel right kissing her. Like it was wrong. But that's stupid because we're together, I'm supposed to like kissing her.
I get up from her bed and grab the food giving her the bag and placing the drinks on the nightstand. Inside the bag she pulls out a 20 piece nugget for us to share a two large fries a Big Mac for me.
She looks up at me and smiles, leaning in to kiss me. "Thank you babe."
I scoot next to her while she finds a movie to watch on Netflix.
