"No it's not fucking okay! How did they even get their hands on this?"

The dinner is over and Oyakata-sama left a while ago, now a few Hashira stand around as Sumire has an argument with Tomioka.

"They could've gotten it anywhere. It may be fake."

"Yeah, but what if? Huh? Not only do they know information about me, but they have walked into the final selection area and have picked this up! This isn't no ordinary person here."

Sumire is fuming, in her hand was a fox mask, a scar running up the cheek of the mask. Her hand is clenching the mask as she waves it around at her childhood friend.

"Sankocho,"

"Giyu,"

The two stare heavily at each other, causing high tension between the two.

"I believe you are overreacting," he stares her down.

"Yeah and what happens next, huh?" Silence. "What happens when more masks come by? What if masks from people who are alive? Let's play a guessing game, who's fox mask is gonna be sent to us next?"

"Sumire," Tomioka holds her shoulders tightly, staring into her eyes trying to calm her down.

On the inside, he is fuming, wishing to personally seppuku whoever sent the mask for themselves. It may be murder, but it's seppuku. The girl sighs and just waves his hands off her, walking away quietly, stumbling here and there because of the amount of alcohol she had consumed within the last hour or so.

Shinazugawa stares on, a wine glass sitting in his hand. Kanroji smiles slightly at the two, her head tilted towards Iguro who seems to be enjoying the fight. Tengen stands at the back, only chiming in with a 'flamboyant!' every now and then.

"Giyu this isn't funny," Sumire shakes her head and steps away from his hands, "First I'm pretty much imprisoned here, and now I'm receiving dead people masks and all my siblings are going missing. Do you not think someone is trying to do something?"

"I didn't know you had siblings."

Sumire glares at Shinazugawa as he chimes in, sipping obnoxiously on his wine as her gaze meets his.

"You know what? You're right, I'm overreacting. I'm gonna go to bed now." She places the mask on the table and sidesteps around Tomioka, leaving swiftly and quietly.

"She is a real piece of work."

Tomioka doesn't answer his scarred comrade, instead he just follows Sumire out, hoping to catch her before she makes it back to the Mist Estate. He moves quickly, knowing the girl can disappear within seconds of her appearing.

Kanroji leans over the table, picking up the mask gently, staring at it.

"A fox mask?" She mutters quietly, running her fingers over the painted scar along the cheek.

"They had fox masks," the group glances up to Tengen, "They looked quite flamboyant when they first arrived with them on."

Iguro nods lightly, remembering them. Sumire was quick to stop wearing it and instead wore it on her waistband, it would clink lightly with her katana as she walked and he found it very irritating.

"A lost comrade?" Kanroji looks up to the group, looking for help with the problem.

"Pfft," Shinazugawa lets out a light laugh, "Like either of them have comrades."

He finishes his wine in one and stands up, making his way out of the room himself, ready to knock himself out and have the sleep of his life. He mumbles lightly to himself as he walks along, not liking the distance from his estate to his masters. He walks along, not caring about anyone passing him. He enjoys the dark a little, there's not so many annoying people around, plus Sumire hates the dark, says she sees things moving in it.
