Sumire decides to have a simple sweet closed-mouth smile on her face as she walks into the compound after the Master. She holds the door open for him so it doesn't hit him as it swings back before stepping up behind him.
She almost giggles at the sight of the Hashira bowing to the master, because it almost looks as if they are bowing to her, oh what a sight that would be.
"Muichiro, I believe this is your new Tsuguko. She seemed to get a little lost on her way." She makes eye contact with Mitsuri Kanroji before flashing her a closed eye smile, dragging her finger across her neck slowly.
When she opens her eyes again the girl is freaking out, Obanai Iguro trying to calm her down by placing a hand on her shoulder. She also smiles at Tomioka, ticks appearing once again across her face as he gives her a deadpanned look back. She notices that one or two are missing but can't say it causes her any displeasure.
She smiles at everyone else, silently letting them off the hook.
'For now.'
"Oh? It's Fuji." Muihciro looks at the girl with a dazed look. "C'mon let's go train."
Ticks appear across Sumire's face once again, her smile staying planted on her face tightly.
"Hey Muichiro, remember she is being transferred to Tomioka?" Shinobu Kocho steps forward, her hand reaching for the boy's shoulder but he keeps walking towards his new Tsuguko. Sumire's eyes widen her gaze shifting down to the floor.
'No, nope, nu-uh. Please, please, please don't let me be with that emotion dead prick.'
Even though Sumire had grown up with Tomioka and was very close to him all her life, he had started drifting away as he became a Hashira, obviously believing she was below him. Not only that but the fact that she is the 'Cursed Child' made her hard to deal with sometimes.
"Hm? I can't remember." Muichiro speaks quietly before bowing deeply to his Master and grabs Sumire's hand, pulling her along with him to his estate.
'Thank the lord above me, whichever one you are I shall pray for you each and every night of my remaining life.'
Tokito was silent as he pulled the girl along, although she was much taller than the boy she always supposed it was because she was four years older than the boy. But now she thinks it might just be because he is short. Sumire is average for her age, being sixteen and reaching around 5'6-5'7. But even at this height she was considered tall, very tall compared to the other girls around the headquarters.
"Ah? Michiro? Are we getting straight into the training?"
"Yes, I know you pretend to be behind Tomioka, but I will have you being a Hashira in two months." Sumire shudders at his sentence, this boy may be young but he sure is content about her, he has been able to pull information up of her twice in person, she wonders what he knows about her that he isn't telling her.
"Also," The boy turns around to face her, his eyes shadowed, "It is Tokito-sensei to you now, I am your teacher."
Sumire chuckles lightly, "Well I don't know if you remember but it looked like you were bowing to me just befor-"
She cuts herself off when she notices that he isn't even paying attention to her but instead he is pulling her along again while looking at the clouds. She sighs and walks a little faster so she is next to the boy instead of him pulling on her hand. As she comes up to his side, his arm raises a little so it can stay in her hand, if you didn't know the two it would look as if a mother and son were walking along hand in hand.
Sumire smiles lightly, looking up at the sky as well. Though she is back in the place she didn't want to be within the time span of a chapter or so, she is content with being with Tokito instead of Tomioka. She loves him with all her heart, but she rather die than him figure out her, even if it did take him nearly a decade to do so.
