CHAPTER 20: Bye Greyson, Hi Austin

Greyson's POV:

"Ali, what are---" She ran up to my arms, hugging me as tight as she can.

"A----ir.." I whispered. She suddenly pulled away, embarassed.

She was blushing, it was so cute. Apparently, there were tears in her eyes. I put both of my palms on her cheeks and used my thumbs to wipe away her tears.

"Don't cry." I said.

She started to look mad. She took my hands off her cheek and glared at me.

"How can I not cryyy?! You're going to California? And you didn't even tell me!" she screamed. "Why are you even going there?!?" she yelled, glaring at me for an answer.

I began to tell her the story from my post on YouTube to Ellen's call.

Her expression changed from mad to extremely delighted. She started jumping around like a little girl. "I'm so happy for you!!" she said.

"Thanks." She suddenly had a change in the look on her face, as if she just remembered something.

"When are you coming back?" she asked, eager to know the answer.

"I don't know, honestly. Depends." I answered, truthfully. She became sad. I put an arm around her shoulder in attempt to comfort her.

"But I'll definitely come back for you, dont worry. I'll try to come back as soon as I can." I whispered into her ear.

She blushed, yet again. It was so adorable. I just loved it.

"Am I interrupting something?" a call from behind said. We both looked around. It was my Nina, giving me a glare as if saying 'You go for it.' I laughed inside my mind.

I looked at my wristwatch. Wow. Time passes quickly.

Only thirty minutes left. That sure was fast. I gave Nina a glare and she already knew what I meant from it and quickly gave us more alone time.

She gave me a smile as she left. Coolest aunt ever.

"Earth to Greyson." Ali said. I quickly snapped out of my thought and looked at her.

There was a long silence. "What now?" Ali asked, finally breaking the silence. I carefully positioned my hand into hers. Wow, I feel like we're a couple now.

This is so cool.

Wait, I haven't even told her I loved her yet. Dylan and her weren't together anymore. So, is this my chance? Should I tell her now?

Allison placed her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes. I sneaked a peek at her, she looked like she fell asleep.

So, I wasn't the only one who didn't get much sleep last night, eh?

I grinned and placed my head on top of hers. I slowly shut my eyes. "I--" I started. I began to drift into sleep. "---love you.." I whispered.

I didn't know if she heard it. I hope she did though. I don't have much courage to tell her that again. But, I'll find a way to show her instead.

Allison's POV:

I looked up at the sky. His plane is still somewhere there. I hope he gets there safely.

I remembered his last words to me before he left. "I'll come back for you, don't worry." It kept going on replay inside my mind.

There was also this tiny voice in my head saying, "He won't come back. He'll move on and be a world known singer and he wouldn't want to have to do anything with you."

I slapped my cheek. "OUCH," I said, rubbing the cheek I just slapped.

That tiny voice in my head. It's not true, right? That won't happen, right? I hope so. I hope it won't be like that. It'd break my heart.

I sighed. Stupid mind. You're so, gah.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I pushed myself from the couch.

I stood in front of the door. Wait, is this my homeroom teacher giving me detention or suspension because I've been skipping class for like two or three times already? No. No. No.

I took a deep breath and slowly turned the knob and opened it.

There, I saw a familiar face. That dark brown hair, and his signature cap. It was one person I haven't seen for years.

He smiled, showing off his braces. "Allison, long time no see." he said, in his deep voice. I glared at him. Why was he here? But who the hell cares anyway?

"AUSTIN!!!" I yelled, running into his arms.
