Rumour had it that they were still around.

And I also prayed that wasn't true

Draped over the entrance to their
hidden base was overgrown vines, dipping in and out of eachother and tangling in a mess. It took effort to weave into them to get to where you needed to be.

But they had to do it.

"So it's true?" Her voice was low, milked with a fake but eerie calm. Hiding her growing rage after years of people not believing in her. She spun round, as she did this her black cape twisted over her leg, revealing a long slit up the side of her dress.

"Y- yes ma'am" the young messenger was trembling to even be near her. Her pure power radiated from every inch of her skin.

Nothing but one thing stood in her way of ultimate power over the galaxy.

That... girl.

Raw anger poured in her shuddering body at the thought of her. The plan was simple, find her, take her in, take her power, kill her.

"After all these years she was right under our nose" she scoffed, shooting her head to the side, making her black her flick around her shoulder.

The woman studied the glitching hologram in front of her eyes. Slowly burning up as an image of the girl came up.

She mentally gagged at the young girls beaming smile, her dark blond curls.. brown eyes.

"They did a good job of hiding her for this long" she gruffly admitted, flicking a switch which made the image blur away. She turned back round to the young messenger, a cruel smile with malicious intentions parting on her lips.

"They did" the boy mumbled, eyes looking everywhere but her dark eyes. She stared him down, darkness sprawling over her face as she stood under a direct light above her.

"What do you think?" She tilted her head to the side, biting the inside of her lip with an amused grin as the boy shifted awkwardly under her bore.

"I- uh"

"I don't bite sweetie" she toyed with the innocent man, wrapping him tightly around her finger, pulling strings at her own accord. A deep smirk shadowed by the light re formed on her lips.

"I- I know"

"Are you scared?" She held up his chin with her thumb, forcing him to look straight into her eyes. His lashes flickered awkwardly as they met eyes.

"Of what?" His breath hitch as she snapped her hand away and turned so her back was facing him.

"This war," she gestured around the room as if it were the galaxy. The woman narrowed her eyes and re closed the space between them.
