"We'll just see how this pans out" she turned with a sleek smirk, the red light emitting from her hand and making half her face glow a dooming scarlet.

͙⁺˚*・༓☾ take cover ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙More than often I found myself asking what the fuck I am doing with myself. What are my aims? In the moment it would be my parents honour over my own. Their reputation pounding down and resting on my shoulder.
And I can only bear so much.
The rain came down on my hair, wetting it like a million soul fragments in a chorus together, all asking for release. Being trapped above, rain seemed to have more freedom than man. And they had something man didn't.
Patience.
Upon the curves of D'Qar, patience seemed to always be on the moderate and even with Leia's ageing methods of motivation, man still seemed to be on edge. And they had good reason, flowers were not the only thing ripping from the ground. Crippling fear still prowled in the dark shadows from the past war. Even, despite plastering calm mannerisms, through slit eyes anyone could see our General was scared.
My wet boots pounded against the sleets of puddles on the runway and I bounded to the only under-covered part in sight. I almost launched myself out of the rain and hugged my waist from the cold, lacking every touch I wished to have.
My hands quivered and my eyes strained as I reached my hand towards the beads of water hammering down in front of me, the thin strip of concrete covering my now soaked hair. The water crashed down on my open palm, feeling a light force down on my skin. I ripped my hand back to my waist and tapped my foot down, waiting for the rain to die down.
But it didn't.
"You never did like the rain"
I jerked my head around hoping for a familiar grin, and I did, except, I didn't want to see that grin. Jaina hobbled under the cover with me, shoulder to shoulder.
"It's you" my spark of hope rattled down and mixed in with the damp rain. A rumbling chuckle came from my side and Jaina itched the top of her brow with a paining smirk.
"I was expecting that"
"Then you shouldn't be expecting any more" I leant my gaze away from her and to the floor, which was partially dry. A clear divide between the light floor and the damp.
"One can hope, Mya" she satirically put her the back of her hand, mockingly smiling out towards the hills surrounding the base.
"You're an ass" I mumbled, gripping onto the tight fabric wrapped around my waist, digging my nails sharply on my skin, probably leaving marks. I was getting agitated.
