Jaina had that power over me, and I would not let it distract me from my goals.
This mission was my chance to prove myself.

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ just a dream.. right? ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙An ominous black sheeted my eyes. Surrounding me, moulded pillars littered with cracks and moss showing hundreds of years of life. The stone looked down at me in pity and a cold wind swept through each pillar.
In front of me was a hunched over figure, folded over their own body closing off their true height. Over their face was a drooping hood, covering signs of humanity.
"Come" a croaky voice came from under the cloak, a low rough undertone surrounded the being and I couldn't make out if they were man or woman.
Each step felt like a moment closer to darkness, the pure awe radiating off the figure took over my mind and I felt intrigued, not scared.
In the invisible wind, my hair shifted in front of my eyeline and I flicked it behind me when I got in front of the dark being.
"You need something, don't you?" the figure finally spoke up, circling me in slow calculated paces, their footfall slamming and echoing in the room.

"Your father" it hummed as it paced back round in front of me. I looked down upon it in shaking fear, what did it know and what would it do.
"Who are you?" my voice didn't sound like my own, it was fading and quiet. My brow knitted together when the thing didn't answer.
"Whatever you want me to be-" it responded monotonously, shrugging its already low shoulders. I watched it under my nose closely as it continued.
"I could be a dream," the man mused sweetly, playing some sick game as he took a step back.
"A nightmare." a wave of cold punched me in the face, it was the type of cold that sticks onto your bones and wrap around your warm body with an icy wind.
"Or just your voice of reason"
"That's your choice to make" from under the cloak, a pale, rough finger pointed at me. Wrinkles lapping over eachother and barely hanging
