Chapter 3 - School's first visit

I woke up to the smell of breakfast in the kitchen.

Smells like eggs and bacon.

I got off my bed and let my feet feel the touch of the now warm floor I'm standing on.

Today's the day we'll be checking on my now 'new' school. And since that it is a public school, there wouldn't be any problem would it? I just hope everything's alright there.

I walked towards the kitchen where I see my mother drinking her coffee while getting the eggs and bacons done.

I never knew that my mom can cook and drink coffee at the same time. Awesome.

At my arrival at the kitchen, I got greeted by my creator.

“Good morning sleeping beauty. Had a nice sleep?” she asks

I roll my eyes and gave her a tight hug as a 'good morning too, mother' response.

“C'mon, eat your breakfast coz we'll be going to check your new school. Isn't it great?” she asks with a smile of excitement on her face

We ate our breakfast in a record time and got ready to check my school.

We head to the car and drove past the road filled with cars, motorcycles and even bicycles.

I had to guess that they are getting late for their work or their children's school.

After an hour and a half, we finally reach Hardvard Academy. It's not much fancy on the outside but it's fine.

As we enter the school, I saw a whole lot of students roaming around the school area.

Must me their free time.

And soon after, a lady with a uniformed clothing approaches us.

“Ah, you must be Alexander am I right?” She asks politely.

I nod with a smile replying to her question.

“You look so cute”

I turned slightly behind to hide the heat creeping on my cheeks.

Yeah I am.

“Now let me give you a tour around the campus.” she offered.

I followed her as we roam around the whole campus and told me where or what the certain place is about, explaining every single place and room around the campus.

We walked passed a little eatery which is I'm guessing their cafeteria and I'm getting the sweet scent of food in there.

“This is the cafeteria where all students come to eat their lunch.”
She said pointing at the mini restaurant.

After more and more touring around, we finally went to a stop.

“And that's the end of our tour. So, what do you say Alex, do you like being a student of Hardvard Academy?”

I look at mom with a grin on her face

I look at the woman and I nodded at her with a smile.

“Then come with me and fill up some papers. After that, you will be officially enrolled to the academy.”

I followed her suit and went to an office where she handed me a piece of paper that I should be filling up with. A few minutes later, I finished filling up the informations.

“Congratulations Alexander Ray, you are now an official student of Hardvard Academy. Welcome” she said with a proud smile. I returned the smile at her and bowed as a sign of thanks.

“You will be starting your classes by tomorrow.”

I was shocked of her statement.

Tomorrow? As in tomorrow? That's cruel. I just enrolled here. Can't I take a few more days to get ready before I start my class?

“Yeah, I know it sounds bad for you but that's just how this school goes.” she stated with a frown. “School here in New York just started again a few days ago so it's a big chance for you to catch up to the lessons while its still early.”

Yeah. She's right, it might be a big chance for me to catch up to their lessons while its still early. So if I would rest for a couple more days, it would be a nightmare for me to catch up.

“But on the bright side, you can wear anything you like here.” she completed her sentence.

I smile as a response

“Thank you ma'am very much for enrolling my child here in your school.” my mom stated.

“Oh, ma'am that's no problem. Your son is always welcome here. In fact, that's what we're here for, we accept all student here in Hardvard Academy.” the woman responded with a chuckle.

“We'll be heading now, Thank you so much again”. My mom said her good byes. And I just waved her goodbye.

The lady just nodded and waved us goodbye.

As soon as we get in the car, my mom spoke.

“So, are you gonna be ready for tomorrow?”

I shook my head followed by a shrug.

“I know what'll feel you better”

I raised an eyebrow at her giving her a 'what' question.

“Let's go for ice cream shall we?”
She offered.

I just nod my head excitingly.

She drove quickly to where the store is located and got our ice creams.

After that, we head home and I headed towards my bedroom and buried my head on my pillow. Too much worry about tomorrow and I don't even bother eating dinner. So I stayed like that until I fell asleep.
