Isaiah's POV
“And that's how my day went.” I finally got to blurt out my day to them.
“Woah, that was some day.” Tyler said from the back seat.
I nodded and we arrived to our destination.
“Alright people. Get all your asses outta here!” I announced once I parked the car on a vacant lot.
“Alright, man. Geez, no need to be demanding and all.” Tyler said and I just giggled.
We all went inside and was welcomed with a smile from my friend on the counter.
“Isaiah, my man!” he greeted me with a smile and a wave from the counter.
“Hey, Earth! How r ya?” I asked returning the smile.
“Nothin much, it's been a long time man.” he said giving me a high five in which I returned.
“What can I get for you?” he added.
“Well, I was planning a combo meal and the C3 with 2 sprites and 3 cokes since the gang's all here.” I reassured.
“Alrighty then. That'll be... $76.34 cash only please.” he giggled.
“Fine” I scuffed paying him with the money.
“Your order sir will be right in a few.” He said chuckling.
“Dude, don't call me that. You're making me old.” I retorted.
“Beats me.” he shrugged. “And, oh I almost forgot. Who was that little guy with the green eyes?” he asks.
“Oh, he's name is Alexander.”
“Hmmm, Alexander, huh? What a cute name.” he said smirking looking at the direction of Alex where he's seated with the others.
Oh shit. Don't tell me you're hitting on him.
He leans closer to me to whisper something.
“Hey, dude. Can you do me a favor?” He said in a whisper matter.
“What?” I said, a serious tone.
“Would you mind, ummm.. Err–” before he could finish, I cut him off.
“He's taken.” I lied and his smile turned to a frown.
“Damn it. When I always met the right person, it's always too late.” he sadly concluded. “Anyways, thanks for stopping by, dude. Hope to hang out with you someday.” He said and I nodded and smiled.
“Anytime, bro.”
“Just wait with your friends. Your orders will be up in a bit.”
“Thanks, Earth.”
“Anytime, lil bro”
Now I know lying was a bit harsh and I know it wasn't the right thing to do. But I just don't want Alex to be with someone else.
You're mine, Alexander. Only mine
As I reach the table where the others were seated, I sat on the vacant seat they reserved for me.
Such pure good souls.
“What took you so long?” Blake asked.
“That's not the question you should be asking now.” Zander squeezed again. “What did you order?” he ended.
“Is food really all that's inside that brain of yours?” Tyler asked
“Well, what do you expect? We're in a fast food restaurant. You don't expect us to buy shoes here now, don't you?” He proves a point there.
