Alexander's POV

After the basketball championship, the whole basketball team separated and  went to some eateries with their choice of people to celebrate their win. As usual, Isaiah invited me over along with Blake, Tyler and Zander. We all went to Burger King to exalt their win.

As we enter the eatery, we were asked to pick our orders. I went with an egg burger with coke. While the others had their pic. We chose our seat and got seated.

While we were seating, the four boys had their small talk about the game that seemed like they can't get over it.

“That last win was a blast!” Blake exclaimed as we got seated.

“Yep, I agree. That shot was one of the best shots in the world.” Tyler added.

“Dude, like you even did that with your eyes closed.” Blake and Tyler went wide eyes upon hearing Zander's comment.

“No way!” Blake and Tyler said in unison. Isaiah nodded.

“Dude, how is that even possible? like shit!” Tyler added.

“Yeah, you're like that Stephen Curry guy who shoots on three points but his eyes closed.” Blake said and we just laughed.

“Actually, I really didn't expect it would shoot. Besides, there is a person behind that. That person is the reason why I made that shot.” Isaiah commented. I can't help but blush at his comment.

I don't know if I'm the reason behind that but there is a possibility that it was me.

“Really, now? Is there a specific name behind this person you say?” Zander said.

Isaiah raised his hands and smiled. “Sorry but I promised this person that I can't tell you until this person says so.” he said.

Being mysterious about this "person" he's saying, the other boys also felt confused.

“Dude, come on. Please?” Blake begged. Isaiah shook his head.

“Fine. Just give us one hint about this "person" you're telling us” Tyler said.

Isaiah looked up as if he's thinking for an answer. Until he finally snapped. “Hmmmm. Let's just say this person has short blond hair.”

Blake whistled “Dude, that chick must be hot with that hair.” The rest just laughed and Isaiah shook his head.

And after that small talk, our orders arrived. We started eating and after we finally finished, we left the eatery and after a thanking for the blowout, we decided to go out on our separate ways.

“Say, Alex, wanna go to the park for a while?” Isaiah asks and I nod. I mean why not? We're just going to have a walk by the park and do a small talk.

As we reach the park, we started to sit on the swings like the other time. He sat beside me and I can sense that he is silently glancing at me which he thinks I don't notice because I have my head lowered down, my hair covering my eyes.

The wind blew a small breeze and that made me look up, close my eyes and feel the breath of the wind dancing on my skin blowing my hair off my face revealing my face.

As I open my eyes and turn to Isaiah, he quickly turned away.

Hmmm, guess he was looking at me.

I started to slowly move my swing slowly just enough for the breeze to run through my hair.

It's so peaceful here.

I took a deep breath and let it all out. The worries, the anxieties and the depression. Ever had that feeling that you just wanna be in a place where you can shout everything out? Like you just wanna let the wind carry all your burdens and all your anxieties but just in your head? This is how it felt like. Peaceful.
