Alexander's POV
My stomach felt like it was about to explode because I ate two cheese burgers, three chocolate bars and more than three dumplings. I really felt sorry for Isaiah because he had to pay for all the food we ate. I wanted to help with the bill but he insisted so he paid it ALL.
Currently, we are taking the long cut towards our houses since the afternoon was still young. Checking the clock, it was still 5 o'clock in the afternoon and mom won't be home by 6, so we went walking by the park and got to a stop and sat to the vacant benches just standing there at one side of the park.
I felt the cool breeze of the afternoon wind dance past and across my skin sending shivers to run down my spine.
“What a great view right?” I look at Isaiah pointing at the very beautiful view of the sunset that was currently presenting a show in front of us.
I gave him a reassuring nod and a smile.
“So, what do you want to talk about?” he asked
Will you be my boyfriend?
Holy shit! What was I thinking. I can't just say that directly at him when he doesn't even have any feelings for me.
Calm down, Alex. Calm down.
“Hey, Alexander. You okay?” I haven't noticed that Isaiah was shaking my back with his hands, eyes filled with worry and concern. I nod my head as an answer.
“Anyway, as I was saying...”
What the hell? You were saying something? Why haven't I notice that. I'm such an idiot.
“Remember the dinner you invited me?” I nod at his question.
“Guess who's free on Thursday” I pointed at him.
Checking at my phone's day, today is Tuesday. What a great surprise.
“Yeah dummy” he replied with a chuckle.
I just lend out a little smile. Okay, a big smile. He's just so cute when he's laughing.
“Can I ask you something?” he asks. I just tilted my head to the right.
“Can I ask for your number? We can talk more about the dinner later” he suggested which I gladly gave him. There's nothing wrong with giving your phone number to a friend, right?
Probably.
After he took my number, he also typed something on my phone.
“I saved my phone number in your phone so that you won't be able to ask who is texting you.” he said giving my phone back with a smile.
We happen to have fewer more small talks and then after I noticed that the sun was almost going to set and it would be getting dark sooner or later so we planned on going out now.
Before we both get to move our feet forward, we got stopped by a not so small blonde girl. She looks so... Too much.
Isaiah's POV
Before Alex and I can move our feet, we get stopped by my ex girlfriend.
She looked at me with a wide smile on her face.
“Hi baby!”
Baby my ass
“Don't you baby me.” I responded sarcastically.
“Oh, come on. You know I still love you”
It's getting dark, Monica maybe you need a flashlight for you to really see who you really love.
