Alexander's POV

I can say that Isaiah is a fast learner for a beginner. Usually, I spent 2 years on training for the family chords and another 3 years to master the notes. He's really intelligent. Yesterday was not as hard as I thought it would be. I never knew that a jock would have such a brain.

Currently, my mom dropped me off to school since she's not in a rush, we left our house together.
I walked to my locker to shuffle my books and pick out the needed books when suddenly some girls started chirping and squeaking cute sounds.

“He's here!” a girl shouted and captured the attention of majority of the girls in the hallway and started running forwards.

Who's here? I mentally ask.

As I walk towards the girls, they surrounded this HE guy. As the crowd gradually cleared, I noticed the familiar frame being surrounded by a hundred feminine frames chirping and flirting with him.

Isaiah.

As he caught my attention, he smiled and waved at me making the rest of the girls glare at me, turning their smiles into frowns.

I felt something wrong happening. He went closer to me and placed his arm around me while we walk away from the crowd of girls.

“Mr. Famous, eh?” I said above whisper so that they won't know I can talk. He shrugged his shoulder with a smile.

“I don't know what gotten into them. I just entered the school and then... boom! I got crowded” he said making me chuckle a bit.

As I look back at the girls, I can see them gossiping about something and they nod as if they're agreeing on what they're planning about.

Shit, this is not good

I know my gut feel was right and I'm really beginning to get anxious about it.

“Hey, you okay? You seem worried.” Isaiah asked looking concerned as if he noticed my mood swing. I nod as an answer. It's better to be silent than just to explain it. I know I had this very bad gut feel but right now, I'll just set it aside. We continued to walk around the halls and proceeded to our math class.

And just in time. As we entered the classroom, a whole crowd of students came barging inside as well as the teacher. We sat on our seats as waited for the teacher to start class.

“Okay class we have an activity today!” The teacher greeted. Most of my classmates grunted including me. Although I grunted mentally. I don't like the sound of this activity. Everytime the teacher announces an activity, he always make it in a group. I don't like groups because I hate attentions.

“Your group names are in this jar. You will pick one and those who have the same names as you picked will be your groupmates. Got it?” he said while shaking a jar with folded papers.

“Yes sir. We got it.” they all said.

Oh gosh, my life is ruined

I banged my head silently on my desk and Isaiah seemed to notice.
He then pet my back mumbling

“It's alright. It's just for this day. Nothing will go wrong. Besides, there's still a possibility that we can be group mates.” he said with a grin.

“Alright class let's start!” he then starts to roam the jar around the room letting each student pick one piece of paper. He then came to me and let me pick the last piece.

“Alright class! Open up your papers and find your group mates!” the teacher shouted making everyone stampede inside the classroom.

I opened my paper and started to read the note.

Triangles.

Huh, I wonder what today will bring me. I thought

I head towards a group of seats and a label 'triangle' was placed. Nobody was there yet so, I took a seat one of the chairs. While waiting, I doodled on one of my notebooks when I heard something that caught my attention.

“Hey, mute” he said

Oh, shit. Please tell me that this isn't happening.

I look up to see Roman sitting on the other side from where I sat.

“Nice glasses though. Makes you look like a nerd.” he teased chuckling a bit.

Soon later, a few more of my group mates came to our seat. Only then I noticed that they were also Roman's 'friends' that help me get drenched in the cafeteria a few days ago.

“Hey Roman!” one of his friends said lifting his hand in the air only to get a high five back from Roman

“Hey Jeffrey!” Roman replied and Jeffrey then turned around to face me. Smirking.

“Hey there little guy.” he said calmly while sitting beside me. I felt so hysterical while he talked.
“Isn't he the guy we had fun in the cafeteria?” he turned to ask Roman which just smiled and gave him a nod. He now turned his whole face towards me which caught my whole attention.

Fuck, what's he gonna do now? I asked in my brain.

“Well tough luck kid, we're group mates now and we're going to have some real fun.” he said mumbling the last words in a very demonic way.

Oh shit. Isaiah I wish you were here

“Alright class!” The teacher exclaimed clapping his hands once catching the attention of every student in the classroom. “As you can see, your group is composed of different shapes. What I want you to do, is go deeper into the topic I gave you. Give more informations about the topic you have. About what the shape you have. I want to see creativity and keen knowledge of your performance. Got it?” he finishes.

“Got it!” they all said.

“I am expecting keen performance and clean reporting on Friday.” he said. And just in time. The bell rang, signalling the end of the period.

“See you later, mute.” Jeffrey says. Tapping my shoulder before leaving the room.

This is gonna be tough shit.
