Chapter 11, Night 7: Goodbye, Mikey (for now)

Foxy P.O.V.
"I can't believe today's your last day." I hugged Mike for a final time the night afterwards.
"Aww, Foxy." He hugged me back. "Time flies when you're with the one you love." I teared up.
"You always say the sweetest things." I looked him straight in the eye.
"Hey, you do too."
"I'm serious, Mike. You have no idea how upset I am to have to say goodbye to you..." I held Mike close to my chest once again. "I love you."
Mike was silent. "I love you, too, Foxy." Came his response. "D-Don't ever forget that, OK?"
"I won't, matey." I promised. "Not for as long as I live."
"Good." Mike responded and pulled me in for our final kiss. I made sure to make it as soft, sweet, and memorable as possible. Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy watched from the doorway. Chica was crying and so was Freddy. Bonnie wasn't crying: he was sobbing onto Freddy's shoulder.
"We're gonna, *sniffle*... We're gonna miss you, Mike!" Bonnie cried. Freddy held the purple-haired man in his arms.
"Bye-bye, Mike!" Chica whimpered.
"We'll miss you." Freddy tried to restrain as much of his sadness as he could. It wasn't working.
"Foxy..." Mike nuzzled my neck. "Promise me something."
"Anything." I responded, holding him tighter.
"Promise that you'll remember me no matter what." A tear streaked down Mike's cheek. "Please..." He tried to muffle a sob.
"I'll always remember you, Mike." I returned, allowing some tears to steak down my own cheeks. "I promise. No matter what the circumstances, of I see you, I'll come running for you. I promise." Those were the last words we exchanged before the 6am bell rang.
"Goodbye, Mike." I waved sadly with the others as my night guard boyfriend slowly left the pizzeria for what we all thought was good.
The first thing I did was run to my room and cry.
TIME SKIP
Cassidy approached me later that afternoon.
"What's wrong, Foxy?" She asked me.
"M-Mike's gone from me forever... now I don't know what I'm going to do." I rested my tired head in my arms.
"It's okay, Foxy, knowing him he'll come back someday." Cass put an arm around my shoulder.
"I hope so." I sighed, feeling tears come back to my eyes. "He was my first love... my first true love..." I cried in my boss's arms.
"Shhh, Foxy, it's ok. He'll come back, I promise..." She smiled. "If you let go of something you love, and it doesn't come back, it was never yours in the first place." She looked me in the eye. "Mike loves you. He'll come back..." She looked me over. "You've had a long night. Get some rest. When you wake up, all will be okay. I promise." He smiled and left me to check on the other three, who were almost as depressed as I was. In fact, they were so out of it Cass had to close twice in the same week.
"I feel like I'm nothing without him..." I rolled over in my bed. "I love you, Mike..." I whispered before falling asleep.
THAT NIGHT
Bloody Doge-frickin'-damn-it. I was pissed off, mostly from my own depression.
"Back off, you three." I shoved Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy out of my way when I tried to make it to the guard room. "Fuck the battle plans. I'm going all-Out tonight." I sprinted down to the office and screamed so loudly it would make a dog deaf. Since we had a new night guard now, I could finally take my anger out on something.
The new guard fell out of his seat and dropped a cup of coffee in the process. Two Mikey mistakes in one. I cackled.
Wait. Two Mike mistakes in one. That wasn't even possible. Well, it was possible. But you had to be a certain person to be able to pull that off. A certain person with brown hair, blue eyes, and an unmistakably sexy smell that could be detected a mile away. Someone who looked and acted just like this new night guard....
"Foxy...?" He stared up at me with wide eyes.
"Oh my god." I stared down at him before helping him up and pulling him into a hug.
"I'm sorry, Mikey." I apologized. "I told you forever, and I meant it."
Mike hesitated for a second before hugging me back.
"I told you I'd never leave..." He said, smiling.
