A year and a half later.

September 12, 1920
James Matthew Barrie

THE school year has past like a blink of an eye. James is on his way to school, not as a middle school student but as a high school freshman. He and Wendy had talked about this day and how they would eat pie for the afternoon, everytime they went home from school as celebration.

High school was something Wendy was looking forward to and so did James. It was another journey, and he couldn't ask for a better person to accompany him in this moment—but Wendy.

"Settle down everyone!"

Everyone settled down as the teacher moved herself in front.

"Today will be a busy day. You guys need to answer some questions, so I can assist your understanding."

James wasn't shock about this news, but was still displease by this. No one wants a test on the first day, unless you're that smart dude who told everyone to settle down.

The teacher started to give out test papers, while the whole class was whining about it.

"Alright," the teacher hissed, making the class quiet down a little. "I'll give you guys two hours to finish this test. Good luck."

"The essay will is presented tomorrow morning," pagpapaalala ng guro nina James na si Mrs. Davies. "Those at the back will be presenting first. See you tomorrow."

That first day of class wasn't at all what James imagined it to be. He never thought of it to be so monotonous and somber.

Walking on his way home, he passes through the Darling's residence giving him the idea.

He run to the porch greeting Mrs. Darling, who was knitting a scarf in the living room.
