James Matthew BarrieJAMES left Wendy yesterday with guilt in his heart, after knowing that her hallucinations were getting out of hand.
"Good morning, James." A voice from behind called, making him feel a bit of hope that the voice was Wendy's.
"Hey, James wait up."
"What's with the long face?" she asked.
James turned his wake to face Margaret and asked, "Wendy hasn't been in school yesterday." That was all he could mutter.
"Gosh, you really are stubborn. Wait for me," she said panting as her heels clicked on the cemented path.
"You know, that good for nothing Wendy would like it if you help her with school."
"Thanks, Margaret."
James ran to school leaving Margaret dumbfounded and shocked. He went inside the room with a big smile on his face, ready for the morning lessons.
After a while of waiting for the teacher to come, Mrs. Davies finally arrived.
"Good morning, class," she started. "Today we will be discussing some mathematics, alright?"
James made himself comfortable and jotted everything down for that day. He was ready to at least meet Wendy today and help her with school so she would want to heal faster.
"I want this schoolwork to be submitted tomorrow," Mrs. Davies said while scrambling on her paperworks. "Is Ms. Darling still not around?"

His grandfather once told him that the tree has been in this area ever since. No one knew who planted or who owned it. It was a mysterious blessing—he sometimes calls it.
"Maybe this was really planted for me to see this beauty," he said while gesturing to the sunset he is seeing upfront.
