Isabella's POV

"Detectives, hi." Ernest greeted shaking hands with Stein then Bradman.

Stein was a bit shorter than me.Blonde hair,thick eyebrows, small black lips,in between chubby and thin.She also had brown eyes.She looked to be in early 40's.

Bradman was a bit taller than Ernest.Brown hair,thin eyebrows,pink lips,a bit thin.He had green eyes.He also looking to be in his early 40's.

"How are you?" Stein asked Ernest with a smile.

"Well...." Ernest scratched the back of his neck."I'm taking it step by step and day by day.So does my girlfriend." He replied.

"Ohh that's good.Good to hear indeed." She said nodding her head.

"Do you guys mind if we come in?" Bradman asked

I took a moment before replying. "Sure,come in."

Ernest and I moved aside,letting them walk through our hallway.We just watched them walking away and didn't really move.

"Who died?" I asked looking at Ernest being totally serious but he laughed.

"Your ass very dopey." He said and walked away.

"So are you." I shot back as I followed him.

We both made our way to the living room and found the two detectives standing waiting for us.

"I must say,you got a sheen house." Stein complimented as we all sat down.

I sat next to Ernest and across us sat Stein next to Bradford.

"Thank you." I gave her a sweet smile.

"Can I get y'all something to drink before we start?Water,juice or?" Ernest asked.

"Just a scotch will do." Stein replied

Ernest raised an eyebrow." You got a good taste I see..." He said and Stein let out a soft laugh.

"Thank you." She said." What can I say...I learnt from the very best." She said looking beside her, at Bradman.

"Ohh I'm so honored." Bradman smirked leaning back on his seat.

"Ohhh I'm sure you are." Stein said sarcastically.

Bradman just rolled his eyes.

We all laughed.

After some few minutes,Ernest came back with the drinks.

"Let us not waste both of you time and get to the point of what exactly we are here for." She said and we all nodded,motioning her to continue.

"We're very sorry for not being able to come check on you for the past few weeks.We were actually out of town to solve some few puzzling circumstances." She said.

"Ohh no it's fine,I understand." I assured with a small smile.

"Right." She breathed out,leaning back on her seat.

"Look Mrs Knowles. We just want to ask you some few questions-"

Stein cut him off." And we hope that's fine with you?" Her voice was uncertain.

Bradman saw the puzzled look look on my face..

"Regarding your accident." He clarified.

"Ohhh." Was all that could come out of my mouth.
