I wish we could have stayed like that forever; you, me, and your son. Because when it's just us three, everything seems to fall into place. And yes, he can be rambunctious; he's just a toddler after all. But dearest, in all honesty, I love you both because—in all my life—I've never truly felt like I belonged somewhere, or had a place. When it's us three, I finally feel at home. I finally feel like I have a family. You and your son have reminded me that the best things in life come when you need them most; and I'll forever be grateful for that.
