Okay, let's be honest here. 2018 has been shit. Complete and utter shit. However, I'm willing to admit there has been good things. Great things. Amazing things. I worked at the State Capitol for the second time. I got another tattoo. I met some fantastic politicians. I gained new friends, and lost toxic ones. I wrote my first original song. I found myself again.

A new cholera vaccine was administered globally. India eradicated their ban on gay sex. Canada legalized marijuana. Scotland now includes the teaching of lgbt+ rights into its school curriculum. Global suicide rates have dropped 38% since '94. Ireland is now the world's first country to divest from fossil fuels. Malaysia abolished the death penalty. The midterm elections had the highest voter turnout in a century. Over 100 women were elected to Congress, including the first Muslim woman. Last but certainly not least, the #MeToo movement was at large, and helped countless victims of abuse.

I'm willing to admit 2018 wasn't all the bad. I'll also say that 2019 will kickstart a revolution. Who's willing to stand with me through the flames?
