Kida

Kagome went to the kitchen to start some food for everyone. Everyone was looking around the place opening every door. Rin and the two girls opened the door to one of the bedrooms. The room had a beautiful pastel green wall with a bed big enough for all of them. The girl went to the bed and climbed on it. "Wow it's so soft! This is where we're sleeping for sure!" All 3 girls shrieked excitedly. Jaken and Shippo went to the bedroom next to the girls in there the room was blue and the bed was just as big as the previous they stood there staring at the room. Jaken went on the bed and collapsed immediately. " It's like laying on a cloud." He closed his eyes and started to snore. Shippo rolled his eyes and laid on the bed at the opposite end of where Jaken had passed out. "Oh wow he wasn't kidding." He said laying on his back. Sango and Miroku went to the room right across the hall and they looked around and put their son to sleep in a pulled out dresser drawer. He fit perfectly inside it. Sesshomaru continued down the hall by himself he opened the last door and the room was very plain white walls with gold trim. The bed however was bigger than the rest as was the room. "This must be the room of Kida." He said entering the room. Looking around he found many pictures of people and one person seemed to stick out with her blue hair and blue eyes. He took a deep breath and could smell cherry bloosom and lavender. The scent was faint meaning she hadn't been in here for quite some time. "Hey everyone it's time to eat." Kagome yelled from the kitchen. Sesshomaru sat there on the bed thinking about why they all had been transported here. His mind kept going back to right before everyone was sucked into the well. He could've sworn he heard something. He wasn't sure exactly what it was but he knows he wasn't the only one Inuyasha had heard it as well. Kagome was in the middle of cleaning when Inuyasha was looking around the kitchen opening all the cabinets. He reached the one at the end that said "Pantry" he opened it and his mouth dropped. "Ka---Kagome look at all the ninja foods!" He said with his mouth watering. Kagome slapped his hands away and closed the door. "Oh no you don't Inuyasha. Those aren't ours and I don't have money right now to replace them." She said wagging her finger at him. Kagome pulled the phone out of her pocket to check it for messages. There was no messages or missed calls. She dialed Kida's number one more time. "Please dont pick up. Please don't pick up." She said narrowing her eyes as Inuyasha opened the pantry door again. To her surprise the other end went straight to voicemail. "Her phone is off. That's new." She said putting her phone back in her pocket. "Inuyasha get out of there." She said closing the pantry door again. Inuyasha pouted and walked down the hall everyone was in the rooms they had found earlier half of them were sound asleep. Inuyasha reached the last empty room and entered Kagome soon followed after. "Today was very exhausting. We definitely need to rest." She said getting under the blankets and turning off the lamp beside the bed. Hours went by with the house settled and quiet. Inuyasha's ears started twitching. He could here a vehicle driving up. He opened his eyes and listened. There was the sound of jiggling of keys and the door opened and closed then footsteps trailing down the hall. He could hear faint music being played then the open and close of another door. "Kagome." He said quietly but to no avail she was in a deep sleep. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" A women's screamed filled the house and everyone was awake. Kagome ran down the hall and threw open the door of the master bedroom. There stood Kida with an umbrella in her hands and on the opposite side of the room stood Sesshomaru, all you could hear was the music from Kida's headphones blaring. "Kida. You're back! I tried to call you." Kagome said as she nervously stepped toward Kida to disarm her. "Kagome? What is going on? Who is that and why is he in my room?" Kida was yelling at Kagome. "We just needed a place to stay for a bit. This is my husband's brother Sesshomaru. We didnt realize you'd be back so soon." Kagome said sheepishly gesturing behind her as everyone was sticking their heads out of their rooms. Kida sweat dropped. "Kagome you brought a bunch of people here? What is going on?" Kida said looking at Kagome. She put up her hand and stopped Kagome before she started to speak. "It's late and I'm tried I'm just going to change and we will speak about this tomorrow. I see all the rooms are full so I will take the foldout couch in the livingroom since my bed is preoccupied by your brother in law." She said narrowing her eyes at Sesshomaru who was standing there watching them. Kida went to her closet and grabbed some pajamas and headed to the bathroom. "I will see you in the morning Kagome. Go get some sleep you look exhausted." She shut the door behind her and turned on the shower. Kagome and Inuyasha went back to their room. "She looked really mad Kagome. She was going to attack Sesshomaru with an umbrella? I don't wanna think what would've happened if you didn't take it from her in time." Inuyasha said laying back down. "I know she is definitely upset. I dont know what to tell her. I can't just tell her that we were all living in the past and got magically transported here by a well. I guess I'll think of something tomorrow she usually sleeps in kinda late so I'll have time to think of something." She said closing her eyes. Back in the master bedroom Sesshomaru sat on the bed. That woman would dare attack him. A mere mortal threatened him with a weapon. How dare she brandish a weapon toward him. She even gave him a look. She was not afraid to defend herself at all toward him. He'll have to keep an eye on her. He heard the water turn off and listened as the door opened and the footsteps trailed down the hall toward the front of the house. He could hear her groan as she struggled with the foldout couch then a plop as her body made contact with the foldout couch. He closed his eyes and soon the house was quiet and settled again.
