Kida woke up early the next morning and was gone long before anyone woke. Everyone slept in a bit longer than usual. Kagome made breakfast and decided to put on some cartoons for the children everyone was intrested in the television. Kagome's phone rang and she picked it up to see it was her mother calling. "Hi mom, how are you?" Kagome said after answering her phone. "Kagome did Kida leave her boarding information with you?" Her mother sounded out of breath and distraught. "Yeah I'm sure it's here somewhere." She said looking around. After about three minutes of looking she found it on the refrigerator. "Flight 713 from NRT to MXP it left about three hours ago." Kagome's mother started crying on the other ended of the phone. "Mom what's wrong?" Kagome asked worried. Just then the television announced breaking news. "Flight 713 from NRT to MXP has crashed into an open field. The fight had been delayed because of mechanical malfunctions. They had moved passengers to a plane that was deemed safe for the flight and the plane has crashed right outside of the airport." Kagome fell to her knees dropping her phone. Bursting into tears.

Inuyasha ran to Kagome's side "Kagome! What happened? What's wrong?" He asked concerned. Kagome pointed at the tv that had the plane crash displayed. Everyone looked at it confused. Kagome tried her best to gather herself. But all she could do was point and mutter "Ki-Ki-Kida" tears rolled down her face. Her friend was in that plane. Her friend was gone. Rin looked at the television and sadness overwhelmed her. "Kida was in that?" She questioned pointing to the horrible scene displayed before them. "Oh no." Sango said putting her hand over her mouth tears formed in everyone's eyes. Sesshomaru stood there. She was just here a few hours ago. They had danced together right in this very room last night. Jaken looked at Sesshomaru who was in disbelief. He knew what his lord was thinking and had seen his Lord Sesshomaru offer his hand to dance with her. He even noticed how close Sesshomaru got to Kida last night. Sesshomaru turned and left the house walking toward the field. Kagome's phone rang again. She was too upset to pick it up. Inuyasha looked at it. "Kagome it says Kida" he said his voice cracked a bit. She grabbed it looked at it in disbelief and answered it immediately. "Kida? Kida?" She screamed into the phone. "Kagome. I'm alright. The studio called me and canceled last minute. I just heard on the radio about the plane crash. I'm almost home. I wanted to call ahead to make sure no one tries to kill me when I get there." Kagome jumped up relieved tears still rolling down her face. "She's okay. Kida's okay." Kagome announced happily and everyone jumped with joy and tears of relief rolled down everyone's faces. "Ok Kagome I'll see you soon." Kida said hanging up the phone. Kagome looked around "Where's Sesshomaru?" She asked. Hearing a tree fall in the distance Kagome look out the window. She could see Sesshomaru's poison whip flashing bright green against the trees and ground. "Inuyasha you should go tell him she's alright before he destroys the whole property." She said wiping the tears from her face. Inuyasha nodded and headed out towards the fields. Shortly after Kida's car pulled up and she entered the house and was bombarded by hugs of relief, even Jaken hugged her legs. Everyone was so happy she was alright. She laughed embarrassed by how much attention she was getting. Inuyasha walked by her. "Glad to see your alright Kida." he said. She nodded and was quickly pulled into Sesshomaru's arms. He held her tight and took in her scent. After a minute he quickly released her. "I called as soon as I could to let everyone know I was alright." She said taking a few steps away from Sesshomaru. There was a knock on the door. Kida went over and opened it. "Alex! What are you doing here? I changed the gate code, how did you get by it?" She was infuriated that he would dare show up after what he had done last night. His eyes glowed a deep red and he let out a bone chilling laugh. (Picture does not belong to me)
