I tried my best not to think about it. If he really wanted to give me his number and go out to lunch, he would have made this easier.
But at the same time, who could forget that smile ?
It was as if I was under some sort of spell and I couldn't get him out of my head.
Lunch time came and I wondered if I should look for him. Maybe he gave me clues with out me knowing, but it was useless now. I took a seat at my favorite sushi place and starred down at the green dragon roll I had ordered. Two hands land on my shoulders and his voice sends chill down to the pit of my stomach. Sort of like when you drive fast down a steep hill.
"Rude," he jokingly declares, "You we're suppose to order some for me and we were suppose to eat together."
Before I could ask how he found me, Subin offered an explanation. "I see you all the time and I stalked you today," He declares proudly.
To be honest my feelings were mixed. I don't know if I was more surprised, creeped out, or turned on.
Subin took his spot right across from me. He places his delicate hands on mine as he begins to rant. "You know, I really hate the fact we only have one bathroom," His words begin to fade as I focus on the little circles he draws on my skin. I was so tempted to grab a hold on his fingers and place his hand in mine. And suddenly his rant end and he pauses right before asking, "So, do you forgive me?"
My eyes shot up and were caught by his gaze. I had no idea what I was forgiving him for but I would forgive him for murder at this point.
"Ummm, yeah, It's cool," I doubtingly accepted the apology and his eyes lit up. Without warning he jumps out of his seat and takes my hand, almost as if he could read my mind. "You're mine today!" He declares in triumph.
How I wished I could say the same about you, Jung Subin, but you were never mine. You were meant to be free.
