Monday became Tuesday and I laid in bed thinking of ways to bump into him.
I usually never felt this excited about people. Saying I hate people is way too harsh, but I usually don't like people this much. I'm not those types that falls fast for a pretty face. My attraction was solely off of vibes and energy and after the year I had, Subin made me feel alive again on the inside.
After a while I gave into the sleep and drifted off until my alarm rang again. This time I refused to lose my place in the bathroom lineup. I effortlessly got out of bed and made my way down the hall, only to be met by Subin again. This time we both faced each other and he spoke.
"Soooooo, this is awkward," he childishly starts off the conversation. "Hi, I'm Subin," he introduces himself by extending his hand. And being the natural flirt that I am, I reach out for his hand with out losing eye contact and reply, "Hi, I'm Sejun, and I think you're cute ."
Honestly, for such a shy person, I don't know where I find the balls to say this shit. But Subin doesn't seem to mind at all.
"Give him your number," Daehwi chimes in from inside the bedroom. I nod my head in response, "It's the right thing to do."
"Your absolutely right," Subin confidently agrees. "After you treat me to lunch". And before I could ask anymore question Subin returns to his room and locks the door behind him.
I could tell he enjoyed the chase. Like he was used to all the attention and he enjoyed it a little too much. But to be honest maybe that was part of the attraction. The chase was always the fun part about us. The words unspoken. The lines that we weren't willing to cross but we enjoyed pushing each other to our limits.
But Subin would mean so much more to me, and I wonder till this day if he ever knew.
