Broken too

Subin zooms out and jolts right past me, like a rocket straight to his tall lover. He takes him by the hand and attempts to escort him back to the room only to be turned down. Subin stands emotionless, almost as if he doesn't care but yet he does. I catch a glimpse of his eyes and I realize that there's hurt. He masks it well with the awkward laughs but I knew better, because that look reminded me of myself.

I didn't look for him after that, I figured he would want his space.

Heochan was a wreck by the time I got back to him. He began to apologize a thousands times, blaming himself for me taking so long to get back. "I'm probably boring," he begins to reason with himself. And continues to have a full blown conversation and I think "Yup, definitely Byungchan's cousin."

Finally Byungchan interferes and escorts Heochan to a room down the hall. I honestly didn't even know he lived here, but the whole idea seemed like a tragedy waiting to happen. The last thing I needed was to break Heochan's heart for a second time. Because deep down I knew I couldn't forget Subin. Even if he didn't want me back like I wanted him. Even if he couldn't love me like I needed him to.

The rest of the guest begin to leave as well. Subin hadn't stayed after the rejection and the tall guy was one of the last people to leave.

Without a plan I approach him, contemplating wether I should let him know where my hand and my lips had been. Instead I just walk him to the door like a nerd and wave him goodbye.

I think Subin had enough for the night, I didn't need to add on. I'm sure he had his reasons; I have a feeling he's broken too.
