Chapter 23.5: Nightmare

Bella's POV:

"Bella, we dont care about you anymore, you have 5 minutes to pack your things and leave the house." My parents said, their faces showing pure discust.

What did I do?!

"FASTER YOU LAZY PIECE OF WASTE!" Dad yelled, causing me to run up to my room.

I quickly placed ramdom stuff into my bag. I have no idea what im doing right now. Its as if my body has a mind of its own. I finished packing all of the stuff that I'll be needing with a minute to spare.

"Ehem." I turned around to see Brody in the doorway of my room. He looked pity of me. Could this be a sign that he could tell me what's going on?

I walked towards him and then gave him a hug.

"I knew you would always have my back. Can you please explain why mom and dad are angry at me?" I asked but something felt off.

He didnt hug me back.

Instead, he just laughed. "Mom and Dad? Seriously. What kind of joke is this? You were never a part of my family." Brody said as he pushed me to the ground.

I felt my eyes water. Why is he like this? "5 minutes are up!" Dad said as he climbed up the stairs to where I was on the ground. He violently grabbed my arm and dragged me all the way to the front door.

"Finally, Ive been waiting for this moment."

"Our home seemed so cluttered with her around. Im glad that shes gone."

"You're never ever welcomed back here. We wont help you if you come crawling back here."

And with that, they pushed out of the house, making me fall. The immediately locked the front door.

"Mom? Dad? Brody?!" I said, as I got back up and knocked on the door. At this point, all my tears were coming down my cheeks like a waterfall.

After alot of knocking, my hands got tired and it was getting late out.

I need a place to stay... but where?..

I stood there and thought for a minute. Mo and Lucas are on a vacation with their family. I dont know where Andrew and Anna lives. Leo is my cousin and my own family kicked me out so..

That leaves Mateo.

Well I better get going since it takes a while to get there. I quickly ran my way to his house but the distance seemed even longer than before. My feet began to hurt but I kept pushing.

I was almost there.

Once I arrived I knocked on the door. After a while, Erik eventually opened the door.

Thank goodness!

"Oh hey Bella, what brings you here?" Erik asked. "Well my family kicked me out and Ive got no where to go." I said as he nod his head in undertstanding. "Alright, come in. Mateo's in his room" he said and I entered.

I looked to see Marie and Elliot on the living talking. They quickly paused their converstation and greeted me. After that, I went up to Mateo's room.
