Chapter 26: I love you

Mateo's POV:

What the heck is happening?!?

My mind was filled with alot of thoughts, worries, sadness, and anger right now.

I trust my snowflake 1000% but when I saw her kissing another guy, specifically Lucas, its as if my heart was getting stabbed multiple times.

Deep down in my heart, I know that my girl would never ever be the type to cheat. Heck, it doesnt even look like she wanted to be kissed by him.

what the heck, Mateo?! You already know deep down that it was that bastard Lucas' fault!

The scene just keeps on repeating on my mind, like a broken record player...

~ flashback ~

"Practice is over! Remember kids, no practice tomorrow so you better rest up! See you on Friday!" Coach K.B. said after we done our streaching.

Today's practice was pretty intense, especially since we'll be getting a day break tomorrow. Appearently, Coach has a meeting to attend to so he was kind enough to give us a break.

I quickly went to my bag and drank water and wiped my face with a towel.

As much as I would love to grab my bag and run straight to the library, I wanted to look at least "presentable" for snowflake.

After I wiping my face, I grabed my backpack. Before I could go to library, I went the bathroom to where Brody was.

"Hey Brody, I'll go to the library now, okay?" I asked and he nod his head. "Oh okay, I'll come after you." Brody said, fixing his stuff and I walk to the library.

The other day, I had a talk with my dad. He asked about how Bella and I are doing.

At first, I thought that he was gonna give me some reminders or an advice like "never anger her, take me and your mom as an example" kinda of stuff but no..

Instead, he asked me if I.. love her..

This caught me off gaurd, what in the world made him ask me that question.

Dave asked me the same question a while back if I love her. I know that he was just making sure and stuff like that but the way that my dad asked me..

It felt as if he was asking me on a deeper level..

When I asked him why he was asking me, he said, "Well, son. You may be too young to realize it yet, but, its pretty obvious that you love her."

"How so?" I asked.

"Well, its written all over your face, and the way you act too. The way you talk about her, youre protective of her, and the list goes on and on.." Dad replied.

"Oh? And how are you so sure, dad?"

"Well I cant exactly explain that, but I guess the older you get, the more you realize about simple things like love.."

Hmm.. well I know for sure that my feelings for snowflake keep growing and growing everyday..

I do see my future next to Bella's side.. She always drives me crazy.. It feels so good to have her in my arms.. Her blushes makes her even more adorable.. Her brown doe eyes are so pretty.. Shes the most beautiful girl Ive ever laid my eyes on.. Shes smart and has a very kind heart.. Shes sweet and innocent which makes me wanna protect her.. I dont ever wanna lose her..

And most importantly..

She stole my heart.. she 100% has my heart. Weither shes aware of it or not, she already has my heart.
