Epilogue

Bella's POV:

Its been a week since Mateo and I said "I love you" and ever since then, our relationship and feelings for each other  have gotten stronger.

Mateo and I have for sure been on cloud 9 ever since.

Our relationship aside, alot has happened in a week.

Appearently, Mo actually beat up Lucas and gave him a bruise on the cheek. Surprisingly, Mo didnt get in trouble. Okay maybe its not that surprising since Mo usually has something up their sleves but still.

Lunch time, the day after Mateo and I said our I love yous to each other, things were defintely akward.

Sure, we were kinda back into normal, but Lucas just ate his food silently, occasionally joining in, but mostly sat silent.

Other than that, everything else was pretty normal.

The next day after that, Lucas came up to Mateo and I, telling us that he wants to talk to us after school.

Mateo was still acting protective over me, but I could tell that Lucas was serious judging by the look on his face. I convinced Mateo to listen to him and after alot of hugs and kisses, he eventually agreed.

We met up at a ramdom bench near the basketball court. He started explaining oh why he did what he did the other day.

I was surprised when I found out that he liked me ever since we were kids. I kindly said that I always thought of him as another big brother I could look up too. Lucas admitted that what he did was stupid and he isnt expecting me or Mateo to forgive him.

After alot of the serious talk and explaining, the tension between Mateo and Lucas has started to fade away.

Lucas said that he will change and respect our relationship from this day forward.

I really hope Mateo and Lucas becomes good friends, for real this time. I know it will take a while, but I really hope they will be on good terms.

Every friendship has a bump in the road, right?

A few days later, Leo, Anna and Andrew asked us what was going on and Mo being Mo, was more than happy to explain what happened.

Well little do they (Mo) know, something more has happened...

Mateo gave me a look and I immediately nod my head. He said "I love you" to me, but made sure his voice was loud enough for people to hear. I said "I love you too." And he kissed my cheek.

We've been planing this after we talked to Lucas. And oh, yes. We did tell Brody beforehand. Well mainly because I dont want him to  tell dad and make dad "shoot" him with a shotgun-

Everyone looked at us shocked.

Long story short, we told our friends that Mateo and I finally came into terms with what our hearts desire and everyone ; especially Mo and Leo; were very happy that their "plans" worked out in the end.

I was able to catch up with Mrs. Grace yesterday. She asked about Mateo and I's relationship since she saw what happened to Mateo and I that day.

I told her about what went down. She seemed really worried once I explained, but I told her that we talked the other day which is why she probably saw us leaving the library together.

I also told her that my opinion on the library will not change, and I also told her that my heart is what truly led me to love him, not the library. Mrs. Grace gave me a warm smile and nodded her head.

After that, we talked about a bunch of things until it was time for me to go home.

Lastly, last night, Mateo decided to come over to my home and have another sleepover, date type of thing.
