Beginning a crackle
Growing untamed
Exploring new heights
Still unnamed
Burning with frevor
An intense thirst
To turn all else
Into fine grey dust
Everyone might thing it's negativity
Yet even you at times of mirth
Tend to forget all else
You focus on the moment
Negativity is that downward column
A fiery tornado
Burning you down from within
Keeps smouldering under a film
Positivity be a phoenix rising up
From embers and fiery ashes
Freeing you completely
Just this once
One ember of negativity
Repeatedly causes burns
Same thing over and over
Bringing you crashing down
That's why you need people
The ones like the rains and seas
With their tsunamis and cyclones
To quench your own thirst
When they go negative
Vaporise water to steam
And when you do
They'll put you out for good
There will remain no more embers
Just find the right water weilder
To keep you in check.
Your heart doesn't always choose right when it comes to trust, but hang in there. It would've picked an myriad of solutions and still will, but this plethora of choices remain as experience. You'll not go wrong with water. So, like in the wild, your main job: find water.
