Kintsukuroi;
You might only be confused
Let me debunk that "nani?!"
If you will, it's a restoration
Giving to what's broken
A new life - with actual gold
What does this Japanese thing
Mean to us?
Maybe nothing but a waste of gold
But to everyone - no
There's uniqueness
No two similar cracks
No two like you
But we are all prone to break
In many ways
Chips and cracks to total shatters
A small hit to a major freefall
It's a broad spectrum
But for all a pricey metal
Gold - Royalty; Midas;
Yet hold nobility aside now
You too need gold
But not necessarily literally
In that book that spoke to you
That one song
That quote, line or lyric
That one step in your routine
That smile, hug or kiss
Things you can't ever buy with gold
You might think love hurt you
What about the love that could heal
Don't hold onto the thorns
Look above, at the rose
Colour to your eyes
Scent to your nose
Sound of the breeze in your ears
The finger that bled then
Now touching velvety petal
Sample the right love
It doesn't mean you need a person
Thornss don't yield just
Because it hurt you then
It's you who has to let go
Let molten golden love in
You're one of a kind
A kind that can't be replaced
Find your kind of love
That might never be mine.

Kintsukuroi is a Japanese way to restore using molten gold

If you want a shoulder to cry on
A ear to listen
Words to comfort
Eyes to silently read and speak
If you want me, I'm here.

P.s. I got this inspired by a random point Maria brought up in our talk ♡ You're precious and I will never stop saying how you took the time and put in the effort for me... ever so often... and you seemed to do it gladly... you live up to and beyond the Angel your name states...
