1. THIS

A lot of pain being flung all around and then there is you
Caught between right and wrong
Restricted by superiors from actively acting your way
Of course there are more like you
So many others in the spotlight who are actively and loudly in this
Instead of throwing people under the bus
People you used to look up to, let's do this together!
"Why not you?" Everyone asks
You might actually be empathising with us but not everyone lets you do it
Yet a few did come out with small support in ways they could voice
Some got praised and many thrown under the bus
We understand how fragile your current spot is, but the we isn't everyone
How much more pressure to endure
If bothing is said they get cancelled
If they say the amount they could without putting themselves in trouble they get cancelled for not doing enough
Why haven't they spoken
Why haven't they donated
Why they only done so much
It's obviously a hard time
But we empathise deeply
We will do the best we can in the circumstances we live in
We might not be affluent
We might have people who won't let us - family or work
We might live far away
We might not be there in person
Yet we empathise
Even if you don't feel it, we are a silent force backing you up

This was asked by a few who showed me "open your purse" and "where's the wallet" kinda stuff and it's not fair... demanding people who haven't to do something and to those who do, to do more... they are stepping out to speak and deserve the appreciation for it... the ones who do not probably can't...to be weak, but our lives are different and some might have the resources, but circumstances could go against... Support everyone who helps even in the smallest bit...

2. IS

Nothing deserves to be split
You can't stick the continents
But there are some things
Some walls should never exist

We've all had at least a moment
When the rest of the world
Stood on the other side of a wall
A wall man made

Walls unnecessary
Walls anyone who can must try
Try to bring it down
And never let it grow back

They've done it before
They're at it now
They'll probably never learn
But we have voices

Not everyone has the same voice
But you have something
Something that could ease it for someone
Someone who is in dire need

Doing whatever you can
No matter where you are
For the right values
It's time everyone took a stand

No one gets to decide who is better
Nor who is lesser
Because there is none
Let's break walls

We stand for everyone
We stand for the right values
We stand alongside
Others who believe it too
And together we are strong!
"No matter who you are, or where you're from; your skin colour, your gender identity; Speak Yourself." -ㄱㄴㅈ

I'm not you, but I empathize!
P.s. yes I don't write usually put my deepest and unmetaphorized verses here, but I don't think I should wash it down with a metaphor

3. ME

That's all each of is is to ourselves
What you seem to another person
Isn't yourself, it's just them trying
To describe seeing you

You might not feel like you're much
Trust me, neither do I
But there are those moments
Joy coming with "I did it"

And you did something
Maybe not everyone could
Maybe they'll never see you truly
The only one who does is you

So don't let go of who you are
They will try to remodel you
There's no version 2.0
You're beyond their understanding

You're special and loved
Worth those smiles, gifts and hugs
It is not going to be obvious
But I wish that you stay you

I've been forced to change a lot
When I did and finally felt left
I realized futility in losing me
Your life becomes a black hole

Regaining myself was hard
Yet I will never make that mistake
Never put on a mask
Forgetting the real person behind

The world comes with expectations
Never without the boundaries
Yet break them
Even if you have to sit on the wall

No victory is easy
Neither is the one to keep yourself
But lose no part of yourself for any other.
Physically, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and maybe internally too, but when it's who you behold, what do you do?

If you ask me, I'd strongly let you know that you better embrace it and if not the whole world, you will find those comrades who would surely fight for themselves and for you.

On a side note...
I'm greatful for everyone who has been with me... no matter how long ago we met... yet I don't think I hate the few who I've been hurt by... maybe it was a bad time for me in life, but I've never been this sure of myself.
