Suga just nods casually and the others clap to congratulate him. One of them is particularly bitter but he tries not to show it and be happy for his hardworking hyung.

"She'll be coming tomorrow to start working with you. Okay ?"

"Okay." Yoongi answers coolly.

"You alright Jungkook ?" Jimin whispers.

"Yeah, I mean why wouldn't I be ?" Jungkook laughs it off.

Jimin just shrugs. Thus, BTS and Bang PD get to more important business : the comeback. They start working on the songs.

Yoongi looks at Jungkook smiling, working and being himself. He is relieved that the younger did not take this all too bad.

"Jungkookie you said you wanted me to help you with your instrumental. We could do it now, how about that ?" He asks.

"Nah don't worry for me hyung, you have your collab to work on." Jungkook answers with a fake smile before walking away.

Maybe he did take it all too bad actually.

"Good job guys. Next Taehyung and Jungkook for the ad-libs of the second chorus."

"Hmm~ yeah~ always with you~"

Bang Si-Hyuk cuts the music.

"Jungkook perfect as usual. But Taehyung. I can't hear you well. Louder please. Let's do it one more time."

The singers comply. Taehyung sighs and closes his eyes to focus. When he opens them, he sees Jungkook smiling lightly at him. He glares at him then adverts his gaze from Jungkook's confused eyes. That damn smile was uncalled for, pure provocation.

Jungkook, who tried to silently cheer his hyung up is now very confused. He just shakes his head and tries to focus.

"Hmm~ yeah~ always with you~"

"I'll be there~"

"No no no stop. Taehyung... You're out of tune." PD nim sighs.

"This is going to be longer than expected." He adds with another sigh.

"Ah I can't wait for the release of the teaser next week." Seokjin cheers, making the rest agree.

"Yeah, plus I'm pretty satisfied with my looks in it." Jimin says proudly.

"So what are your expectations for this comeback ?" Jungkook asks, trying to make conversation.

"Well... I want ARMYS to be proud of us, we all put so much efforts into this. It is so heart-felt and genuine so yeah." Namjoon answers first.

"Well I hope people will appreciate our choreographies. They are way harder and sophisticated than ever and... I made some of them so yeah haha." Hoseok smiles.

"Hmm.. I think I would be overjoyed if they notice how hard we went with our vocals and how much we all improved." Jimin adds.

"I'd like them to appreciate the diversity and versatility of our songs and beats." Suga says shortly.

"I think the best thing for me will be the stage. I want to slay every single concert or live show we'll have all around the world. Because our voice stability neatly improved too." Seokjin states.

"What about you Taehyung ?" Hoseok asks.

"Uh... I really like the fact that the vocal distribution is more even for this album. I know ARMYs will appreciate it and I can't wait for the whole project to come out already." The said one answers.

"And finally, Jungkook." Namjoon says.

"Actually y'all said everything. I just hope I'll be good enough." The maknae says.

All can't help but notice how he only talks about himself. But nobody wants to comment. Nobody except...

"Funny how we're all talking about the group but you're the only one talking about yourself. Just saying." Taehyung huffs.

Jungkook scowls at him.

"What's the matter hyung ? Are you bitter about earlier in the studio ?" He asks with mischief.

"No. I was just highlighting the fact that you're one very selfish guy." Taehyung shrugs.

"Nope ! That is not correct, boo ! The truth is you wanna make me the bad guy lately. You think I haven't noticed ?"

"Guys just stop seriously, at some point it is becoming exhausting. Aren't you tired ? Stop that." Hoseok complains.

The hyungs agree.

So they stop their stupid quarrel and head to their respective bedrooms.

"They need to sort that shit out." Yoongi says.

Taehyung sings the last verse of his solo extra song. As he sings the last two words, his voice cracks and tears sting his sensitive eyes.

"Jiminie hyung ! I'm bored. Come on let's play." Jungkook barges in his favourite hyung's room.

"Sorry Jungkookie but I promised Taehyung I'd help him out with his song."

"Oh can I come ? I could be helpful too." The younger suggests.

"Uh... I don't know if-"

"Ugh come on let's just go." Jungkook says as he drags Jimin to Taehyung's room.

When he hears a knock on his door,
Taehyung quicky dries his tears and stands up. He forgot Jimin would come to help him with the writing of his song. He gets up and opens the door with a light smile, which he quickly loses once he sees Jungkook.

"What are you doing here ?" He asks dryly.

"I came to help you write your song." Jungkook answers simply.

"I don't remember saying your were needed here though." Taehyung fires back.

Jimin sighs and looks at Jungkook with a sad smile.

"I think you should go Kook. I'll talk to him okay ?" He says soflty.

Jungkook huffs and walks away to lock himself in his room. At this point, he is beyond upset.

"Taehyung now you better tell me what's wrong with you. I know you lied last time." Jimin crosses his arms with a scowl.

"The way you're treating Jungkook is off. You're off. Tell me already ! We promised we would never lie to each other."

"I know and I'm sorry Jiminie. It's just that I'll tell you when I'm ready. Okay ? I promise. Do you trust me ?" The younger asks as he looks at Jimin with puppy eyes.

"Mmh... Anyways, hand me that paper." Jimin says reaching for the sheet of paper lying on Taehyung's desk.

"Right let's get to the real stuff." Taehyung smiles genuinely.

He is so happy to be in company of the best friend he could ever dream for. If it wasn't for Jimin, he would've left the band long ago.
