~~~~Saoirse~~~~
A week had passed since Zarkon was slain by Lotor. And I could tell that things changed.
After rescuing Matt and Pidge's father, Commander Holt, we went back to Olkarion to regroup, seeing the amazing group the Coalition had created over the past months.
I had never been more excited to see the progress we had made in the Coalition. We gathered more refugess who wanted to make a difference in this war. To help Voltron free the universe from the Galra.
I stood with the Holts and Ryner in the central tower of Olkarion, watching the Olkari build and expand the refugee camps.
"Part of me misses my people's exile in the forest." Ryner said, "But since Olkarion became the hub for refugees in this quadrant, it made sense that we should return to the city and transform it into the Coalition's capital."
Sam Holt was amazed by the technological advances the Olkari had created, pressing his face against the glass window of the tower to see the progress closer from where he stood.
"So much has changed so fast." He said.
"For the better." Pidge said happily.
"Yeah, well, Zarkon may be dead, but the war's not over yet." Matt added.
"But the more people we gather, the stronger we become. I know that this war will end in our victory." I said confidently.
"That is why the Olkari are grateful Voltron is here until our drfense systems are fully operational." Ryner said, frowning, "I fear tumultuous times are upon us."
I sighed and looked out the window, remembering the terrible cold feeling I got when Zarkon died. I don't know why, but Lotor's energy seemed even darker than before once he defeated his father.
What's going to happen now? With Zarkon dead, what will happen to the Galra Empire without their ruler?
"Saoirse?" I heard Sam ask. I looked up and saw him, Ryner and the siblings looking at me worryingly.
"Yes? Is something wrong?" I asked.
"You look deep in thought. Is something wrong?" Pidge asked.
I sighed and smiled, shaking me head, "No, not really. Just thinking about a few things pertaining to the future."
"Are you sure it's just that?" Matt asked, "You've acting differently since Zarkon was killed."
"I'm fine, everyone. There are just things we can't stop thinking about until the war is over." I said.
We stayed silent for a second before Commander Holt broke it.
"On a different topic, I would be honored to meet that angel that helped save me." He said, "I would like to express my gratitude in person."
Pidge, Matt and I looked at each other, and smiled. I stepped forward and let my disguise fall, then bowed slightly.
"I accept your gratitude, Commander Holt." I said, standing back up straight and seeing his shocked expression.
"But.... But... How? You're.... You're..." he stuttered.
"Yeah, it was shocking for us, too, Dad." Pidge said.
"It turns out that Saoirse is part Altean, and part of the most ancient alien race in the universe, a Teshirian." Matt explained, "She had to leave since her grandfather tried to kill her and then she lived on Earth without knowing about her past."
Commander Holt stayed shocked for a minute, unable to say another word.
Just then, Shiro showed up and told us that Allura had called us for a meeting with her and Lotor.
